So glad you are visiting. You warm my soul.
I am sipping a fine cup of Coffee with Half & Half in it. Nobody else is up but me and this computer.I like it when first thing in the morning I get a load of laundry in the machine and this robot works while I get a few moments to think about what I plan to do for the day and week.
Silly, I know, but when I get all caught up on the laundry, I feel like a load has been lifted till next time! The laundry is finished for awhile and I feel liberated for a short time. As for dusting...this house has a mind of her own and DUST HAPPENS. I am trying to be more relaxed about DUST HAPPENS because physically I still am not as on top of things as I'd like to be. My stamina isn't quite there yet, if it will be ever again. So I have to find ways to get my work done using different techniques in order to get the finished results I desire.
Even as a stay at home momma when my children were young, I looked for ways to cut corners in house work so I had more time to be their stay at home momma that wasn't always working and doing chores. But for the longest time I wouldn't take time for a coffee break. This isn't healthy. Today, I think it is fine to take a breather through out the day to relax and smell the roses. DUST HAPPENS...especially in Kansas! I still enjoy looking for ways to lighten the load (sort of speak) so I can do other things that my heart desires or is needed.
Today my husband and daughter both will be staying home from going to work. Winter Advisory and the places they work are closed sooooo my sweet daughter was doing THE HaPpY DANCE and went back to bed. Her heart's cry is to be a stay at home wife with more babies to love and to home school. At the present time, she is a single momma that is employed elsewhere. She went through an unwanted divorce almost 3 years ago. So when she gets to spend time with her daughter, she's a very HaPpY LADY. Prayer request: For my daughter...a Godly and Balanced Husband that desires to be married and adores my daughter and is a kind and devoted father. Thank you.
Today, I will have FREE TIME to get Valentine Packages for out of town children and grands box wrapped and ready to be mailed this week arriving before HEART DAY on February 14th. This month comes to an end and the first is just around the corner. I purpose it in my HEART to make Sugar Cookies.
We're having a Coffee Party on Friday Evening. So we have spot cleaning and tidying to do before Friday arrives. It is kind of nice to get fired up on the chores so that the reward is company coming to CHAT and have FELLOWSHIP...GIRL TALK!
We live in a very small town in America and even though it's a small town.....people are cautious who they get to know. This isn't the only small town I've lived in. Even in the larger SMALL TOWNS people are cautious. I think this is fine. Better safe than sorry. Wisdom.
Lord willing by Friday afternoon the house (or at least the main floor) will shine with love because we got our House Cleaning/Home Blessing done!
Tuesday, I have a hair appointment with a local HAIR WIZARD. She makes one's hair do things it doesn't normally do. I am hoping and praying that when she begins to style my Crown Of Glory that I can copy it on the day after. It's a challenge.
I just heard the bedroom door creak open. Honey's up...better run and get after my day. Today is the day that the Lord has made...I will rejoice and be glad in it.
