WALKING AROUND THE TRACK FIELD AT AN OUT OF TOWN MEET plus what I had walked in town helped me to walk approximately 1/2 mile. Doesn't sound like much, but every inch counts for something. I'll do a long walk on Sunday if the weather allows it. Today, my calendar is too busy and my body needs a rest to walk a mile. Shall see how it goes. I may walk in the evening.
Slept so well last night that when I woke up, I felt like getting some chores done early today. Time seems to get away from me so easily. I must pace myself and make plans.
Yesterday, we drove about 2 hours to a High School Track Meet. SO that's like a 4 hour driving day. Traveling wears me down. Gotta watch that.
Hubby is still asleep. I seem to be the early risers these days which is answered pray as I have never been an early riser. I had prayed about getting up earlier and it is happening. This is amazing. Thank you, Lord. You do answer prayer.
I am not taking a sleeping aide anymore which is also answered prayer. Not for over a year. This is amazing as well. Hallelujah. Keep praying. Praying for getting the COTTAGE in order. The basics is at hand. My COTTAGE needs a huge amount of attention. Amen.
The Track Meet was exciting! Grand ran. Lil Miss is a runner and a half. AWESOME to see her run. All the kids are outstanding athletes. Unbelievable how fast they run. Lil Miss runs on two relay teams and both teams came in first this meet. Also runs the half mile. First place on this event as well. Their team broke some school records and many of the kids made PRs. The day was about as perfect a day for weather than you could ask for. 72 degrees, blue skies and very little wind. These Sporting events allow me to see some of the countryside when we're driving in the daylight adding enrichment to our lives.
Luncheon today for the graduates then back to cleaning and organizing. I sound like a broken record, but it's true there is much to do to get the COTTAGE up and going to where it is not an embarrassment having so much stuff sitting out and out of order.
