I sit here with wet hair in curlers listening to Summer time crickets chirp early in the morning. Sipping coffee after my hour wait is up from taking my ARMOUR THYROID. Been up since 4 am. Couldn't fall back asleep. Oh how I tried.
Laid in bed an hour then decided to go ahead and take a shower. Moussed my hair and rolled in curlers. It will take several hours to air dry this way, but think a curly hairdo will be a nice change as my hair needs a nice change from time to time.
I hope to put some much needed make-up on this morning and go to TOWN to pick up my new eye glasses. Hoping they are a fit. I have put off for half a year selecting specs. Ridiculous until you understand where I am coming from when it comes to selecting glasses. The stories I could tell you. (Post was written earlier. A few days has past since writing. Picked the glasses up and loved them, but failed to hold them up to the outdoor light to look for scratches. I did look that night and yes I will have to take them back...scratches and pit marks. Can you believe it?)
FINALLY got around to ordering them. My old tried and true glasses have just about fallen apart.
Looking like it might rain today, HUBBY is out mowing our tall grass early this morning. It shall take about two hours to make this happen. When he gets finished, it always looks so nice to have a lawn cut.
Think I will fix scrambled eggs with bacon in the large skillet for BREAKFAST. Should be easy enough and taste right good. There's pear juice in the fridge to sip on. I used all my apricot juice up. Like it so. Difficult to locate in this part of the Flint Hills. I found some last year in Peabody, KS. I have a brother that lives there and the next time I go to visit I will need to go to their local grocery store and stock up.
I never dreamt that apricot juice would be so difficult to find. hummmmm. (Went to Peabody Grocery Store....no apricot juice. So disappointed.....whaaaaaahhhhh.)
I worked on writing out checks to pay down the medical bills. Mercy...13 accounts. The bills continue to roll in. The little darlins' want paid like yesterday. In this country we have wonderful medical techniques, medical facilities and procedures. Won-der-ful. They are expensive though and when you need them hopefully they will be available.
The day will come when the doctors and hospitals want paid upfront. No waiting for insurance companies. This will be a NIGHTMARE.
I am thankful I had insurance to help with the monstrous medical charges...still it will take some time to pay off ALL the bills. I can only do so much and it isn't welcomed in our instant society. Still I lean in and pay what I can afford and that will have to be good enough. Payment plans don't go very well when you have UMPTEEN medical accounts to pay off with the facilities and doctors want paid immediately but you have to eat, pay utilities, food, fuel, credit cards, insurances, taxes, general life expenses. Not complaining...explaining. Talking.
I have been faithful to pay our bills. Faithful. To stay in good standing with the doctors, I have to pay quickly.
