Brown paper inside of the box was covering the items on top instead of styrofoam peanuts or plastic bubble wrap. Two of the brown glass bottles were wrapped with corrugated cardboard and the large brown glass bottle of Vitamin C was engulfed by a form fitting box. The shampoo and conditioner bottles rode without restraint freely inside the box. No leakage. Arrived safely to my doorstep.
I prefer glass bottles over plastic ones. I believe they are a healthier choice for storing vitamins and medicines over plastic. Just sayin.
I had been using Dr. Mercola's Liposomal Vitamin C that I bought from a Dillions Grocery Store about a year ago. After seeing that Dr. Mercola has bundles of Liposomal Vitamins C, Liposomal Vitamin D3 and Zinc plus Selenium, I wanted to give it a try. I had no idea what liposomal meant. Had to look that one up.
(LY-poh-SOH-mul) A drug preparation that contains the active drug inside very tiny, fat-like particles. This form is easier for the body to absorb and allows more drug to get to the target area of the body, such as a tumor. The main difference between “regular” vitamin C and liposomal vitamin C is that the liposomal version is better absorbed and more easily used by your cells.
I believe I will order some VITAMIN B COMPLEX with BENFOTIAMINE from him soon. What is Benfotiamine? Benfotiamine is a synthetic S-acyl derivative of thiamine that sold as a medication or dietary supplement to treat diabetic neuropathy.
As I march on my way toward 70, I am more interested in vitamins and minerals all the more. Nutrition means more to me than ever before.
TODAY was a pleasantly slow paced day as I was allowed to rest and take it easy so I can heal up after the removal of a cyst by surgery. I believe my eye area will heal alright. Just slightly tender. Use the ointment and pray. The area under my eye where people generally have bags is seriously baggy.
Co vid connection: My son's health is improving with each passing day. No fever or headache today. My 89 yo Mother on the other hand is having a time of it. She isn't running a temp, her oxygen is good as her blood pressure is as well, but she has extreme fatigue. Sleeps a great deal. I wonder if it would be best to have her in a Skilled Nurses Facility to make sure she is doing all that she should be doing. My sister is with her. After my brother died in October and the family was doing the burial planning, my sister stayed with Mom.
Mom hurt herself which led to using a walker to using a wheelchair with a leg brace to a walker again to therapy and no leg brace to walking on her own once more. The very day she was going to go to IOWA with my sister, Mom passed out, taken to the Hospital to find out she has Co vid. After two days in the Hospital, she returned HOME where she continued to get very ill. Nauseated. She remained HOME because my sister was willing to stay with her. That was 10 days ago.
I have come to know that one's residence should be aired out and everything sanitized. Mom only has one restroom that has to be shared. You're not suppose to share towels with Co vid patients. Change the towels frequently. Fresh air is suppose to circulate. Disinfect everything touched. I believe it would be appropriate to use paper products to eat off of and disposable cups to pitch after use instead of washing so much. Take Vitamin C, D and Zinc. Drink plenty of fluids. Plenty. My Mom isn't much of a water drinker. She needs to be.
Remember to stay hydrated.
