The church age buildings have changed dramatically when it comes to architecture. Especially the interiors. What used to be called a House of God now looks like a NIGHT CLUB inside. Bizarre.
The next wave of weird has arrived.
Super size speakers for sound hang from the ceiling to blast the bejeebers out of all in attendance. A light show with darting beams spray the atmosphere with lights shooting into the atmosphere making a haze. Smokin'! As you sit in the viewing audience, the room is dark elsewhere giving the impression that this is the greatest NIGHT CLUB in town. Sorta like a ROCK CONCERT.
If you wait long enough Desi Arnaz might show up beating his bongo drums singing Cuban Pete. Wait...that's a bit too tame these days.
Where's the drinks? Cigars, Cigarettes, Tiparillo....remember the television commercials??? In a short time the Hotdog Salesman will come by with his little sidekick selling popcorn. Get yo peanuts! Cotton candy...get yo cotton candy. I can hear my Husband now with his deep booming voice that carries, "Popcorn!!!"
Perhaps if we staged this, people would whip out their cellphones to film the bouncers escorting two old people out of the House of Worship. Trouble makers again.
It's a circus out there.
Maybe a circus inside the new age church.
Come Lord Jesus.
Mathew 24:24
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
I don't think it's all about modernizing to get the younger people interested in God. It's part of the apostate church that teaches false doctrine.
Can you hear the still small voice of God?
Have the peeps come to worship or be entertained?
Do silly women ever walk out itching their ears?
Does the body buzz with numbness after the singers perform?
The music is so loud with the lights flashing. Getting distracted.
I can't hear myself think,
