THE HOLIDAY PLANNING CONTINUES
Preparing for the HOLIDAYS continues.
I may have to slow my pace. TODAY, my nose is stuffed up. A tickle. Watery eyes. Cough. Cough. I caught a cold. Whaah. It's not fun. Sniff. Sniff. Increase the Vitamin C.
Still had blood work done in the morning, bought a miniature humidifier at Bed, Bath and Beyond, dental appointment in the early afternoon and a nap.
The first full week of NOVEMBER marches on and if I can...the deep cleaning of the house begins.
Autumn decorations are out.
THANKSGIVING Menu decided on and shopping started.
Dishes, utensils and drinking glasses decided on. Will wash closer to THANKSGIVING.
Coffee, Iced Tea, Coffee Urn, Iced Tea Dispenser with sugar, artificial sugar, coffee creamer, stirrers ready of use.
Baking dishes will be located ready to go.
More thought about seating arrangements.
Need napkins, salt and pepper shakers.
Have to unbox Boopie Glass and place in the Kitchen cabinet. Need to bring ladder into Kitchen to rearrange the shelves.
Will wash all the dishes, glasses and baking dishes the week ahead of THANKSGIVING.
Will have to make final decisions about sleeping arrangements and gather up the bedding. Additional bedding may need purchase. Necessary.
THE PLANNING CONTINUES.
This evening I ordered on-line some discounted sheer panels that will hopefully go well in our Living room. Today, I looked at what Bed, Bath and Beyond sold and thought I had better remeasure my windows. When I started to study up on the internet, I caught a better sell at JCPenney. Debating if I should "PUDDLE" or not. The ceilings are high in this house and I thought I'd like to try puddling the curtains for a change.
Originally I thought I'd buy sheers and then later add a heavier drapery. When I looked at the prices being what they are, I went ahead ordering more sheers in a different color to give the look of a drapery.
Shall get through the HOLIDAYS with these sheers and give myself more time to think on heavier drapes. WINDOW TREATMENTS are quite an investment. EXPENSE. For now, I will be covering 4 windows for under $264.oo with FREE SHIPPING. Will share later the results.
Time to get some rest.
