WE WOKE SANTA BABY UP FROM HIS SLUMBER

THANKSGIVING preparation of the big meal went well.  Maybe the smoothest one ever.  That helped.

By noon, we were all together.  A few announcements were made like... "After we eat, I want to take a few family pictures before anyone leaves."

We took a moment to share what we were thankful for and prayed.  We had a nice selection of food and I believe everyone ate well.

True to form, we snapped a few pics.  Visited and had fun.

After we ate, a few family members left and this is when Santa paid us a visit handing out $2 bills.  HoHoHo.

Hubby snuck upstairs and slipped on an old pair of red long johns that I discovered when going through our Christmas decorations a couple of months ago.

He stuffed himself with a pillow and placed a Santa hat on and came down the stairs Ho.Ho.Hoing.  A first for my Husband.  He did a great job pretending to be Santa.  We all laughed.

We took turns holding the Baby.  He is only two weeks old and such a sweet one.  Blonde hair and I think blue eyes.

We had a blessed time together.  Nobody went away hungry or sad.
To me, I had a full heart and appreciated our time together.  It was awesome.

I will hold onto this HOLIDAY for a long time.  I want to remember this one even with my hair a mess, being over weight and wearing no make-up.  Family time was a blessing and I can smile really big knowing we were together this THANKSGIVING.

and I loved it.

The day was full.  Very, very full.  By bedtime I. was. tired.

I had washed lot of pots 'n pans and tidied up where needed.  We filled about 20 trash bags full of this and that over this HOLIDAY.  Made my head spin, but we only get together once a year if we're lucky.  We were lucky and I am so thankful this holiday took place.

THANKFUL we were together with harmony, peace, sounds of laughter, hugs and smiles.

The sound a Family makes when being HAPPY
because we're together was heard,

DECORATING

I knew a very frugal Lady named Edith that shared with me a excellent guideline for decorating. She said with ease, "If your room has clean ceilings, floors, and walls, and the windows have nice curtains, you'll have an attractive room."

John 3:7

Marvel not that I said unto thee,

Ye must be born again.

King James Version (KJV)

PSALM 118:17

I shall not die,
but live, and declare
the works of the Lord.

PROVERBS 24:3-4

By wisdom
a house is built,
and through understanding

it is established;
through
knowledge

its rooms are filled with rare

and beautiful treasures.

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS
SELECTING THE CORRECT SIZE CHANDY TO USE IN A ROOM MADE EASY. FORMULA MEASUREMENTS: Measure the room's height and width. Add together the numbers. Example: 8' x 10' room is 8 plus 10= 18" Use a 18" wide chandy. OR Take width of room calculating 2" for every foot. Example: 15' wide room. Take 15 times 2 = 30. Room needs 30" wide chandy. Standard distance between the bottom of the chandelier to the top of the table is 30 inches. When hanging the chandelier, make sure to hang it at the proper height. The bottom of a chandelier over a dining table or kitchen island should hang 30 to 32 inches above the top of the table or island. Most rooms call for at least 7 feet of space between the bottom of the chandelier and the floor.

WISHES

NO MATTER HOW BADLY YOU WISH with all your might that the something devastating that happened in your life hadn't happened and want so badly to go back in time to prevent it from happening...it isn't humanly possible to do this. You can't change the fact that it happened. IT DID. But JESUS can change the MEANING of what happened to you and give you PEACE. He can show you the way in which you are to go. God richly BLESS you. ~Deanna
