I slowed in blogging the last couple of weeks. Much to think about in this day and age. The controversial Reproductive Health Act in New York passed which made my jaw drop as the Governor smiled while signing the legalization of full term abortion. The death culture is real. A female can give the okay to abort the child she has carried for nine months even as she is in labor? A few more minutes the child could be born and given to someone who desires to adopt. Only a few minutes more. Let the child live. Let the child have the opportunity to develop their God given talents and bless others. Let the child be allowed to live. Murder does not come to some people's minds.
Harvesting body parts is not my idea of godly when a baby is torn apart to harvest body parts for another. Not a good thing. Please reconsider doing this. I knew a woman who shared that her sister deliberately got pregnant to harvest body parts for one of her other children that was ill. This is acceptable for some...not for me nor do I believe a Holy God would want us to do this thing. Almost like cannibalism. Murder one life to attempt to save another? Please reconsider. All life is precious.
Saddened that full term abortion is acceptable. Saddened it has come to this. SMH. Shake my head. Please share your thoughts on this Act.

On a lighter note: As the cold weather returned today, the week-end's milder temperatures were easy to enjoy at 60 some degrees. Take a deep breath and go awe. The weather was lovely.
I had a DATE DAY with Hubby last Thursday as he had a medical appointment. Beforehand we went to our favorite THRIFT SHOP. I purchased a couple of glass dishes and kerosene lamps. I'll have to get a different chimney for one of these as it looks to be a Princess Feather Oil Lamp without a chimney that was paired up with dancers on a vintage chimney from the 1960s.
Not far from our HOME is a shop that sells parts for kerosene lamps at a reasonable price. A frilly globe might come later as I believe it would add a pleasant addition to the lamp. For now, a new chimney will be purchased and added to this old lamp that I believe has had a history. Think a 12" chimney would be elegant.
I had no idea that there were so many types of kerosene lamps before researching them for parts this week-end. Rather educational.

A glass plate that I bought for $2 had a familiar pattern that I recognized and at $2 that was a sweet price. I also bought another glass tray that I'll place jewelry in. So purdee.
I have a few pieces of this Pineapple and Floral pattern. Really like it. Will continue to pick up pieces here and there as I go. Come what may...I will collect these if reasonably priced. $2 is reasonable.
One day closer to SPRING. Praise the Lord for SPRING!
