Blessings and fun memories to you. The kind of pictures I have stored in my mind about an evening out with some girlfriends eating Mexican Food will just have to be filed in my thoughtlife AND WORN ACROSS MY HEART. Imagination! No camera with me.
It doesn't matter who you are...everyone and I mean everyone...has challenges and is going through something.
There's an upbeat Gospel song 'I GO TO THE ROCK' by Dottie Rambo that I think I will sing today.
A small group of friends met to eat Tacos at a little Grill across the tracks. We get together once in a while and share what's happening in our lives, laugh, cry, and promise to pray for one another. HOLD ONE ANOTHER UP.
You know when you feel comfortable with SISTERS in Christ and can bare your soul to one another knowing that we won't gossip or use the info against another is a rare and precious gift. The Lord has blessed me with a small group of friends to share with. We sat and talked for 5 and a half hours.
Yesterday, I was told the nodules in my thyroid are COLD ones and they need to be biopsied. Okay. I had a healthy and honest prayer session with MY LORD where the tears flowed and I admitted all. Money cannot buy this time with the LORD.
Making arrangements to where you can sit quietly in HIS presence and talk it through may take some doing, but I had to. I go to the ROCK of MY SALVATION.
It's alright to share our concerns with others that will pray for you with sincere and heartfelt prayers.
I GO TO THE ROCK
by Dottie Rambo
Where do I go when there's nobody else to turn to?
Who do I talk to when nobody wants to listen?
Who do I lean on when there's no foundation stable?
I GO TO THE ROCK
I KNOW HE'S ABLE
I GO TO THE ROCK
(Chorus)
I go to the ROCK for my Salvation
I go to the stone that the builders rejected
I run to the mountain and the mountain stands by me
When the Earth around me is sinking sand
On CHRIST, the solid ROCK I stand
When I need a shelter, when I need a friend
I go to the ROCK
Where do I go, where do I go, when the storms of life are threatening?
Who do I turn to when those winds of sorrow blow?
And is there a refuge in the time of tribulation?
I go to the ROCK
I know He's able
I go to the ROCK!
God bless you and may you go to THE ROCK.
I would be honored to pray for you,
~Deanna~
