HERE KITTY KITTY and SALAD SUNDAY

SLOW PACED DAY REQUESTED, please.
I need to walk and pray today.

On Saturday, I BABYSAT FOR 8 and a half hours for a very busy and active 3 year old grandson, but all went so well.  He was such fun to watch.  I wasn't alone as my Hubby came along with me and together we entertained him.  I actually believe he entertained us.  We brought along with us a toy cash register with a scanner and speaker, toy money, bank card, miniature grocery items and shopping cart.  He loved the scanner as it lights up red.  The machine makes soft register noise.  HE LOVED IT and played with it off and on the entire time we were there.

He took about a two hour nap, ate a little and played a lot.  When he needed to go to the potty he let us know and went by himself.  We had a great time with him, but when his daddy got home with his older brother, he was so excited to see them he jumped with joy. 

I took a drive about town after babysitting.  Stopped by DOLLAR GENERAL and saw how easy it is to fall in love with a kitten.  Under one of the vehicles in the parking lot was a meowing kitten probably about 6 weeks old.  A lady fell in love with it and had her son capture it.  She carried the kitten into the store and later I saw her carrying a bag of kitten food along with the kitty in her arms petting it.  She rescued the little darling.  🐈 

At supper, we dined on Chicken Noodle Soup with brownies for dessert as we watched the old 1958 Hitchcock movie VERTIGO with Jimmy Stewart and Kim Novak.  It sure didn't end the way I imagined.  This was suppose to be one of Alfred Hitchcock's best movies.  Special effects involved colored lights in a few of the scenes to emphasize something important happening.  I'm not sure why this is considered one of Hitchcock's best.

Like so many of Hollywood's flicks, the leading actress is young with beautiful features starring with a leading man much older than her.  Kim Novak was about 25 in this movie and Jimmy Stewart 50.  25 year age gap.  Was it a illuminati twist to have such an age gap or wishful thinking of the casting and director that older men can still attract much younger women? Fantasy.  That's entertainment for you.  Older man....younger woman with appealing physical attributes.  

This sold tickets making mula for Hollywood.  Hitchcock seemed to do this in his films as other directors did.  Same thing with Hitchcock's golden girl Grace Kelly being in the neighborhood of 25 years old in movies she made in the 1950s with much older leading men.  

NOW FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK-END.  Not very exciting in the real world, but necessary. Hubby will work in the cellar fixing the board in the dining room floor.  I have hopes of doing some laundry and playing with dishes.  Lord willing, it will be a slow paced day.  

The month of November is half over.  We may make our deadline at having the tv room set up and the living room decluttered of a buffet and large screen tele in front of the bay window.  The clutter sitting about our wing chairs will be gone.  That will be a relief with less stimulation to look at.  I can't wait.  I have to, but I can't wait.  Having the COTTAGE less cluttered with a nice floor covering appeals to me in ways I cannot put into words very well.  It seems like what I would like to have done takes a terribly long time in my world that is passing me by as I get so much older too quickly.  I know we must move fast and sometimes can't as time marches on.

Being SUNDAY, I will fix a large salad for supper.  Salad Sunday.  Going to get those greens in the diet.  I'll be taking a walk here in a little while.  Will be taking supplements throughout the day.  Apple Cider Vinegar tablets helps me feel less nervous after I eat a meal so I like taking a tab with lunch and supper.  The same with Ceylon Cinnamon for stabilizing blood sugar and Co Q-10 for heart health.  I've learned that Vitamin B complex should probably be taken with the noon meal as it is considered an energy vitamin and taking it too close to bed might excite a person with energy getting in the way of falling asleep.  Vitamin C, D3 with K2 taken with lunch. Zinc with Selenium,  Potassium and Magnesium with supper to promote relaxation for winding down to sleep. 

IN A NUTSHELL
Drink natural spring water for supplements and sip Eternal Water that has electrolytes throughout the day.
Breakfast:  No supplements
Lunch:  ACV, Ceylon Cinnamon, CoQ10
Vitamin B complex, Vitamin C, Vitamin D3 with K2
Supper: ACV, Ceylon Cinnamon, CoQ10
Zinc with Selenium, Potassium, Magnesium

Now I will be researching the ingredients in these vitamins as not everything in them is going to agree with having good health.  What all is synthetic in the inactive ingredients in capsules and tablets?  Gosh, does it ever end?  Vitamins.  

We can say we get our nutrition from the food we eat, and we do, but the quality of the food can be altered as the soil isn't what it once was being depleted from not rotating crops and allowing the ground to rest every seven years.  Still, I have been reading about synthetic vitamins verses natural.  Synthetic anything seems to carry with it a red flag of danger.  

Synthetic anything isn't natural which has serious side effects toward human beings.  So I'm reading about synthetic vitamins.  It's apparent that synthetic is way cheaper to make which seems to encourage companies to use synthetic over natural, but in reality synthetic causes ill affects.

Do you suppose synthetic vitamins cause cancers?

Time to rest this evening.
Looking forward to the week to come.  Only one medical appointment this week so I can work more around the house.  The cardboard moving boxes that hold the Blue Willow China are in ze house.  Makes me smile.  I have started unloading these and placing the dishes in the cabinet.  2 boxes emptied so far.  That's a great start.

CHRISTMAS ASSIGNMENT.  I cellophane wrapped the grandchildrens' Christmas ornaments. Now to find boxes to mail them in and get that taken care of this week. I believe I can do this.  I'll start a Christmas letter soon and locate my stash of Christmas cards.  This year, I so hope I get these cards in the mail the day after Thanksgiving or maybe December 1st.

I so hope the TV room is up and going December 1st.  I'd like to decorate the porch with green garland and twinkle lights right off the bat.
