TWAS GREAT!

TIS the last of the month.  HALLOWEEN tonight with a FULL MOON!  An opportunity to witness a gorgeous moon that GOD CREATED.  HANDIWORK for us to admire.  I'll take time to admire and enjoy.  

Down town merchants had treats for the tricksters on Friday evening.  Not sure there will be very many out tonight knocking on doors for candy.  We won't be participating.  It's been like 40 years since I did not hand out candy.  Forgive me.  

November knocks at our door in the morning.  We'll open up for NOVEMBER with gladness.  

Halloween sales to take advantage of, typical Monday for laundry, Election Day Tuesday, a Son's Birthday Wednesday, boxes in the new TV room gone through throughout the month, treadmill relocated in Cottage so I can walk indoors, etc. 

Next week will be exciting and interesting as we should know who our next duly elected President will be.  Either way, I predict our gasoline prices will sky rocket.  Riots will take place. Mischief will come forth.  Covid continues as the numbers climb.  I think it best to always have a full pantry if possible.  

NOVEMBER.  God, you know who prays.  You know who is righteous and loves you.  You know who hears your voice.  In Jesus name, I always pray.  Amen.

ON THE HOME FRONT:  Hubby continues screened in porch work.  Thanksgiving cards mailed out.  Striving to work on Christmas cards early.  Thankful thoughts.  Christmas decorating figured out.  Hopefully rearranging Living room will take place.  I think we'll put our tree up just with twinkle lights on it.  Will add ornaments throughout November so it's decked out by December.  Then the door decorations will appear and a Nativity scene displayed inside. It would be uplifting to have this ready to go.      

The Kitchen tidying is almost completed, but not finished.  This is ongoing and that's the way it is.  Fiddling along. 

OCTOBER has been a month for taking Kitchen inventory and rearranging everything in there. Watching a multitude of videos on organizing and decorating took place.  Toured houses, worked on rearranging my KITCHEN, making a HOME for exercising equipment,  Shuffled furniture for a new TV room.  Etc.  Was a busy month.

Today, I have much to do.  Think I will pop in at the THRIFT STORE, buzz over to Menards to pick up a few supplies.  

Plumbing backed up in the basement.  Had to put off the laundry until this is fixed.  Meatloaf for supper?  Maybe so.

AS THE SEASON MORPHS INTO CHRISTMAS, I want to slow my pace down to take some time soaking in late Autumn.  The temperature have chilled out and I'm not.  The early sundowns fading into darkness have challenged me to find interesting things to do at HOME.

My bucket list needs updated as the season changes.  Retirement is inching along this month as Hubby will retire at the end of December.  I ask myself, "Can you believe we are at this phase of our lives?"  The list of things I hope to get accomplished before 2020 begins have grown some.  If I don't succeed the list will just carry over into a new year and that's that.

It amazes me how odd this is as we are in our mid 60s.  Like where did the time go?  What happened to us?  Where are we going?  Will there be time for......how's about the money?  This has been an ongoing question throughout my adult life as a married woman.  The medical bills have grown and in order to pay them, the sacrifice of doing without much kicks in.  Praying for strength, favor, guidance.  Praying.

TRUSTING in GOD will help.  Help.

Being creative is a must,

to warm the season.

On my Grandma's HUTCH sits a tray 

holding ornamental pumpkins and some greenery.

MIGHT MOVE THIS TRAY OVER BY THE WINDOW.
MIGHT LIKE IT THERE.

Keeping simple FALL decorations at my HOME.

The way this season is going it's about time 

for snowflakes and snowmen.

Getting COLD too soon

for COMFORT.

 THE TABLE CENTER PIECE is one of my old arrangements 

that I have kept for years.  STILL LOVE IT.

Something about these colors warms the season and my soul.
