THE ANTIQUE CLAWFOOT TUB MADE IT OUT OF THE GARAGE STORAGE, moved across the back yard, up the back door steps into the utility room, up another step and into the KITCHEN sitting oh so pretty. She's old and small, but seriously HEAVY. So pleased she is in the HOUSE. Seriously.
We purchased her many years ago and had plans to put her in the upstairs bathroom in the rock house. We didn't get that far. She sat in the garage. Then we relocated to a different community because of our horrible house fire. We moved the tub to the COTTAGE garage. I was not ready to turn loose of her. We'd return to our small COTTAGE in 2023 that we had purchased along the way that is in the same community as the rock house.
She's been in the COTTAGE garage for along time. OUT SHE CAME October 6th. It took great effort to make this happen as the garage is full of stuff that has to be dealt with over the Autumn, Winter and Spring. This was our start of clearing out the garage.
PRAISE THE LORD and my HUBBY for this happening. It was a beautiful day for this to take place.
I know the tub will sit in the KITCHEN for a few days as we have medical appointments throughout the week and when we do, not much else gets done at HOME as we have to recover from traveling and shopping all day. At least the tub is inside!!!
I'm FASTING this morning as I have labs needed done and then Hubby has an eye appointment. Lunch. A little shopping as I will go to HOBBY LOBBY for lamp oil IF THEY HAVE SOME. I'd like to get some unsweetened almond milk, my Hallmark Christmas ornament, a new KING JAMES VERSION of the Bible in large print, soy-free eggs, cottage cheese and possibly L-tyrosene and vitamin B-complex. For fun stop, possibly unsweetened iced green tea.
GARDENING. I woke a little before 7 this morning and went ahead watering the porch flowers. The coleus were looking sad. Needed water. I think I should be thinking about cutting these and placing in jars of water so they root out to repot in smaller pots. It'll be frosting soon and I don't want to lose them. The geranium will need a place to winter as well. I'd like to keep them alive for next year.
BUSY WEEK. Shall see what I get done. THIS WEEK, the tub will soon be hooked up and I will take a 2 hour bath in this long awaited feature to our COTTAGE. Can't wait. PTL.
