Today I'm greeting you at the door holding a white Royal Canadian Tartan Vancouver B. C. cup and saucer by Crown Prince BONE CHINA ENGLAND, saying HELLO TO YOU! The gold handle and base add a fine touch. Though I haven't visited Canada, I bought this set at my favorite THRIFT SHOPPE because my Father was born in Canada close to 83 years ago. The stories he could tell you from a time gone by is what songs are sung about and books written. 
Beloved, it's a really light weight china cup. Wish you could actually feel the lack of weight while holding this cup. When I hold the empty cup to the light, it's translucent. Take your hand and pretend you're holding a tea cup. Don't feel much weight? That's just about how light this bone china cup is. So delicate. Can we be like this light weight tea cup when we give our burdens to the LORD?When held up to the light, will light shine through us to where we are translucent and others can see a light shining through? Lord, please help me...I had trouble this week relaxing. What would you like to talk about today? Do you have any thing heavy on your heart/mind? Want to hear a light hearted joke? Knock, knock... DAUGHTER'S PIE CRUST RECIPE
Pie Crust Recipe.
With her permission I share her recipe with you. BLESS your family, friends and your taste buds with this wonderful crust.
Pie Crust Recipe
1 cup flour
3 heaping tablespoons of shortening
A dash of salt
A tiny bit of ice cold water
Mix ingredients together well.
Roll out on wax paper.
Assemble pie.
Spread a little milk on top of crust before baking.
Simply delicious,
