HELLO MONDAY

MY FEET HURT.  What shall I do?

THE WIND JUST BLEW THE FRENCH DOORS WIDE OPEN on this fine Monday.  Door was cracked open to let fresh air inside, but also so I can listen to the wind blowing.  A great way to relax is to listen to the KANSAS WIND blowing on a sunshiny day.  The birds chirp while the wind blows rustling the leaves through the large tree in our yard.  I relax in my chair.

Memorial Day HOLIDAY calling to remembrance those who have served our country giving their lives for our freedoms.  A time to salute them with honor.  Graves are decorated and people are remembered.  Even those that did not serve in the military.  A time to remember.

Tis Memorial Day and there will be no HOTDOGS, watermelon or chips.  Just a very quiet and peaceful day at HOME resting and recovering from being in the heat for a couple of days.  As I sat in the heat, I couldn't help but think about those in the military through the years that lived in ungodly heat serving our country defending our freedoms.  The heat did this to me and as we were touring Wichita's OLD TOWN COWTOWN on Sunday, I called to remembrance how so many lived without air conditioning.

My Grandpa use to lay on their linoleum floors to cool off after being outside tending to his chores and small ranch that he eked out a living doing.  Grandpa Bruce was a tall man.  I can imagine how he looked stretched out on the floor to cool off.  I had no cool floor to lie down on while watching the State Track and Field Meet in Wichita over the week-end.  Just an old brown quilt that didn't mind being sat on.  Umbrellas and hats helped a great deal and the sunscreen I used saved us from sunburn.

Stayed hydrated under a hat and an umbrella on a grassy slope at the KANSAS STATE TRACK AND FIELD 2022 MEET in Wichita.  Watched events for hours and enjoyed being there.  Unbelievable how talented these young athletes are.  Amazing to see their performances.  The weather was hot, humid, sunshiny.

My body was kind to me as I didn't have to make my way to the bathrooms very often and for an old woman this was a great blessing.  Walking up and down the slope is far more challenging to my old body than realized.  On Saturday, I made my way to one of the bathrooms.  There was no line to use the stalls.  The surprise was when I came out of the stall and the line was quite long waiting to use the sink to wash one's hands.  One sink.

I haven't seen this kind of line before to use a sink.  Always a line to use a toilet.  I waited my turn wearing my straw hat bearing a beat red face from the heat.

I was shaking.  Slowly I made my way to sit in the shade on a concrete wall and phoned my husband to let him know I was done.  Energy gone.  Couldn't go to where the athletes were cooling off to say good-bye to our Granddaughter who had finished her last event.  She placed, received a medal, stood on the winner's platform.

Her team of five girls all placed and medaled at this State competition.  Exciting to see them all medal.  Lil Miss medaled in all four of the events she participated in.  Very happy and proud of her.  She gave it her all and won.  Super good for competing as a Freshman in High School.  She was tripped in the last race she ran in and nearly fell down, but didn't and managed to finish 4th.  The victory in this is that she didn't fall, she wasn't trampled, she continued to run hard and still placed at State.  The other three races she placed second.  Awesome.

Victory is in being there, wearing a uniform and participating in events.  God is with her and she placed.  There's VICTORY.  We witnessed first hand lil Miss running races as a Freshman at State.  Hallelujah and thank you God for this.  I am so proud of all my grandchildren.  Love them so that I want to cheer each one on as best I can.  Praying for them each day.  God you are so good.  Thank you for them.

We slowly walked to our car in a Church parking lot and drove to Arby's to get a large unsweetened ice tea.  I was parched, over heated and needed air conditioning.  There is a recovery time needed after being in the heat for two long days.

We'd spend the night again with intentions to go to COWTOWN as we were in the neighborhood.  Being so close to COWTOWN I wanted to go see the MURDOCK HOUSE again.  We didn't go to all of the buildings as it was too hot and we were over tired so we went to a few and called it good.

My favorite house is the MURDOCK HOUSE.  No tour guide this time and allowed to take pictures.  Never know about cameras.  I've visited before and was told NO CAMERA FLASHES then on a different visit NO CAMERAS period.  This time I snapped away and stared at each detail.

I love this place and could easily live in something with this floor plan with added features like a bathroom, utility room and bedroom on the main floor.  I haven't seen the upstairs so I have no idea what lies through a dining room door where the stairs lead upward.

What a treat it would be to see.

I know it's a fantasy, but sometimes I give thought to how I would live if I lived in a small community like COWTOWN all the time without cars, no television, no computer, no phones, no running water, no electricity, no electric fans, no fridge, no washing machine, no indoor toilets...okay.  Enough fantasy.  I do like the conveniences that I have, but still know I could live with a slower paced lifestyle so the tele stays off and the door opens for fresh air.

We drove on over to the Marion Cemetery to decorate my Dad and Brother's graves.  Somehow we are going to have to make a way to travel to southwest Kansas to decorate my Husband's Parents' graves.  With being busy taking care of my mother, then sick with bronchitis, then State...I'm not sure how to do it all.  Next year, I hope we can travel the distance to MOSCOW, KS where their graves are so we can decorate them.

We visited with Mom and my Sister who is staying with Mom.  We had pizza and a nice chat with them. Got HOME late and I am officially exhausted where I do need to just sit and rest.  Upon walking into the Kitchen porch area where a Robin's nest was by the backdoor when we left home last Thursday, we noticed the little baby birds were gone.  Apparently they flew the coop.  The nest remains.  Perhaps I will keep this one as a treasure.

With my peach colored housecoat on today and bare footed sipping bottled water and hot Matcha Green Tea, I am recovering.  Nothing heavy to eat.  Gosh the time flies and I do not.

Hubby is outside raking top soil into the lawn's bald spots prepping for grass seed to go in before a gentle rain comes in for the evening.  Last week he dug the dead grass out.  Pretty sure grubs got to the grass.  Lord, we need favor and new growth to the grass in the yard.  I have laundry to do as usual and a pile of paperwork to go through.  It is a beautiful day and I am blessed.  So blessed.

Salad for supper and probably a iced tea.  The night will come on and I will be thankful for a nice day where I was allowed to rest and recover.  Will do some more laundry as I pace myself.  I'll paint my nails.  Bronchitis still is bothering me.  I am better, but it's still hanging on.

Blood work this week and I'm not excited about this as a yearly physical is on the horizon.  Shall see what the doctor says about my health.  I continue laboring to lose weight.  Regular walking must take place like taking a medicine.  Lifestyle changes are a must.

Lord, with your help, I will have the strength and ambition to stay the course.  I have changed much knowing there is more to do.  Be of good cheer and don't get down.  See the blessings around me and in my spirit.  Life is a journey and an adventure.  Enjoy the ride.  Stay a spell and soak in the blessings.  Slow down to think and meditate upon God's word.  Do not get overly involved with activities.  Daily chores must be done and having a very good attitude helps.  Have room to wiggle and unwind.  Need time to think, pray and read.  Amen.

Hello Monday.

JUMPING JACK

THE COMMON COLD usually runs its course in 7 to 10 days.  Mine may take longer.  Have Bronchitis which really isn't the common cold, is it?  Not fair, but hey that's the way the cookie crumbles.  I wouldn't mind a cookie just about now.

  https://tasty.co/recipe/the-best-chewy-chocolate-chip-cookies

IF I HAD ANOTHER NICK NAME IT MIGHT BE COOKIE.

DAY 9 of coughing and having stuffed up nose, etc.  This is by far the worst day for me.  DayQuil and lots of fluids, Vitamin C, D3 and Zinc, rest plus nutrition.  Hardest day for me since I started slightly coughing on Monday, May 26th.  It has progressed.  Today, I feel drained and coughing harder.  I shall take it easy and be resting. Shucks.

Read that pineapple juice and black elderberry juice are super good for combatting bronchitis.  On the look out for elderberry juice.  Hubby ran to the store for me and purchased some pineapple in a can with juice for us to drink.  I was absolutely down and out and needed to stay HOME to rest.

I asked out loud, "Why am I so run down?"  Hubby very innocently ask, "Brain damage?"  I laughed.  He has difficulty hearing...so I think.  Sometimes he is spot on even when he cannot hear.

I ask, "What did you think I asked?"  He apologizes with saying his ears are ringing so bad and he doesn't have his hearing aides in.

After taking some Musinex DM...I almost feel human again!  Wish I had taken some of this earlier on.  Think it would have helped.

Nutrition is a must ALL THE TIME.  Nutritionally DENSE FOOD is a must ALL THE TIME.  It seems like I cannot stay on track like I need to be.  I'm alright with not drinking coffee or soda.  In fact this isn't an issue for me these days.  It's wanting something sweet for my sweet tooth.  Perhaps the body and mind are alerting me that I am not eating enough fruit?

Looking over some info I saved and of course Jack LaLanne comes up.  I had snapped shot his meal suggestions which I think are very good and I can follow his suggestions.  This morning for breakfast I had 1 piece of Killer Dave's multi-grain bread toasted topped with honey, 3 soy-free eggs, 1/2 cup of fruit (blueberries and cherries). Water to drink.  Perhaps I should add almond milk.  I'll add this later when I go get a STEAMER.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

JACK's MEALS go something like this:
Breakfast
1 piece of whole grain toast with honey
fresh fruit or fresh fruit juice
eggs or meat or both
black coffee or skim milk

LUNCH
A large raw vegetable salad
Low-fat cottage cheese, meat or fowl

SUPPER
Large raw vegetable salad
2 or more undercooked vegetables
meat or fowl
fresh fruit and yogurt

A very good guide for meal planning made easy.  A NEW ATTEMPT TO GET HEALTHIER HERE I COME.

I watched a youtube video with Jack with the interviewer saying that the JUMPING JACK was named after him.  I guess I didn't know this.  Although he played no part in inventing the exercise, the late fitness expert Jack LaLanne was given credit for popularizing it in the United States. LaLanne used the jumping exercise during routines he promoted in decades of television fitness programming.

As I recover from this dreaded bronchitis, I pray that I can get back at it making LIFE a simpler state of affairs.

ON THE HOME FRONT:  Breakfast was what we are calling THE JACK, fruit, toast and eggs.

Cherries and Blueberries, Killer Dave's Multi-grain Toast with Butter and Honey, and Soy-free Eggs.  Water again.

Lunch was organic Pacific Roasted Red Peppers and Tomato Soup.  I splurged a little and had some saltine crackers, but get this...I squirted mustard on the crackers.  Yummers?  Mustard is good for fighting infections like Bronchitis.  Okay.

Tonight for Supper, we had Baked Salmon with lemon, small portion of mashed potatoes and Cooked organic Carrots dressed with Olive Oil, Ginger and Basil.  Water to drink.  Delicious and healthy.

Feeling better...Praise the LORD.

Here's to being a healthier YOU at any age,

SCRUBB A DUB DUB

As I was scrubbing the COTTAGE floor, I NOTICED the color in the floor pattern is a green.  All this time I have owned this COTTAGE and never noticed the green coloring.  I like green.  How did I not see this?  Not sure.

We have owned the COTTAGE since 2013.  That's 9 years.  I just about can't believe this.  After the rock house suffered a fire, we stayed in the COTTAGE.  As our belongings started being returned to us, we used the COTTAGE as a storage unit and it wasn't until last Summer that we began emptying the boxes and clearing out things.

I spent months going through boxes and getting rid of stuff.  It has been a long undertaking.  Last Summer, Hubby dug large flowerbeds to plant our Irises in.  We had made up our mind that we would be downsizing to live in the COTTAGE after she is remodeled so the Irises were transferred last year to our humble COTTAGE yard.

Slowly we are taking this on.  All is done in my head.  Reality says different.  Praying for guidance and direction.

The COTTAGE PANTRY is ready to be painted now.  I'll be checking out paint colors from Benjamin Moore Paint.  Think I'll do something wild 'n crazy for oui and go light gray on the entire pantry.  Think it will be pretty.  At one time the walls were a bright green as I noticed when a shelf board was lifted while I was cleaning.  If I like the light gray I may use it in the Utility room as well.  hubba hubba.

Praying that we get really excited about fixing this COTTAGE up.  The more excited we get, I believe the faster we will work.  Much to do.

Tis Monday.  I worked on a couple loads of laundry, then drove over to the COTTAGE to move a pile of old books into a different room, go through a new Mary Jane's Farm Magazine I received and rolled my sleeves up to wash the pantry shelves top and underside, the walls, the wood trim.  Occasionally I would stop and take a breather.  I left the COTTAGE around 4 and took Hubby to the SONIC for a light early supper.

https://shop.maryjanesfarm.org/Magazine

Am resting now before I do another load of laundry and spend the evening rummaging through old boxes up in the JUNK ROOM.  Plenty to do with this rotten cold I have.  Monday is a great day for me to work on laundry just like many a woman did years ago with Monday being WASH DAY.  Somethings never change.

Last night when I was working in the JUNK ROOM, I came across a notebook that my Father-in-Law had wrote in about his LIFE.  I know my husband will enjoy reading this.  I will type it up and keep the original as well.  So I must become a secretary of sorts and type away.  Old photos of family members were placed in large envelopes and mailed today.  Some more things out of the house.  I hope they like the pics.

The Lord is good and He has been good to me.  I must THANK Him for His mercy and His loving kindness.  As I go through old letters, pictures, newspaper print outs, etc.  I get somewhat emotional.  Going down memory lane is laborious at times.  I must move forward and see what there is to see.

Hubby is shoveling the dead grass out of the front lawn by himself and found a way to make it easier.  That's good.  In a few days he will have these areas cleared out, new top soil poured, raked and new grass seeds.  Watering it really good in the cool of the day.  It is about 60 degrees today, so working in the yard is tolerable.  Supposedly we will have cooler weather for a few more days which is wonderful.

I definitely have a head cold as last night I was sneezing, runny nose and continue to cough.  Achoo achoo achoo.  Cotton is flying and I guess this doesn't help with allergies.

I think I have it figured out what kind of design we should have for the COTTAGE PORCH.  That's a relief.  Cute and cozy.

All is good,
~d

WHAT CAN WE DO WITH THIS?

Washing and cleaning the little walk-in pantry is just about finished.  Another week has started and I will go over today to do another round of washing the shelves plus wash the walls.  It sure smell Mr. Clean good when you walk into the house.

First I cleared the pantry out.  Wiped the shelves off with CLOROX Coconut scented wipes.  Waited a couple of days, then scrubbed the wood shelves and floor with Mr. Clean.

Wiped it and will wash again today.  Swept the floor and scrubbed it.  Getting on my hands and knees hurt this ole body.  I did my best to be quick about it.  Have to wash the undersides of the shelves, brackets and trim.

Giving it some thought as to what color to go and think I will go ahead and stay light white?  The shelves will more than likely be painted Benjamin Moore semi-gloss COTTON BALL which is a soft white.  Perhaps this week if I can muster up the energy she'll get PAINTED.  I have to take it slow and do the work a little here and a little there.

A couple of fresh coats of paint will do MIRACLES!  As June is fast approaching, I pray the painting begins this week.  Since it's a small space it shouldn't take too terribly long to paint.

Shelves are wonderful to have.
A small pantry is better than no pantry.

As I look at my tiny walk-in pantry it is larger than what I have in our main house right now.  SO I look at it and think where things will go and how it will be organized.  I stare at the messes and disarray in the COTTAGE and sigh.  Keep moving and stay in motion.  It will come together surely it will.  S u r e l y.

Getting ideas of what others have done to their pantries.  Debating between a very light gray to soft white.  I will need to make a decision.  What should I do?  I thought of installing light colored strips of wood on the ceiling, getting a different light fixture and have a light switch installed, soft gray shelves and walls...never know I still might do that.  The floor will have soft gray tile laid when the time comes.  Tile is purchased and waiting.

The Heirloom Irises that my sweet hard working husband planted last August and September did come up and bloomed.  Yesterday when I looked out the utility window, I could see the rows with purple blooms.  This did my heart good.  BEAUTIFUL!  They are gorgeous and smell wonderful.

Much work to do around our lil COTTAGE.  A little at a time to get a Fairy Tale LOOK to her.  In my head, she's already done, but in reality she is what she is.

As I looked at the back yard, I imagine a fence around the perimeter of the yard.  Not right now, but hopefully after we get moved into our GRAND COTTAGE a fence will go up.  If I can relax about all there is to do, but stay in motion putting my faith in God that He will help this come to be, it will come together.

Blessed assurance JESUS is mine!!!

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine
Heir of salvation, purchase of God
Born of His spirit, washed in His blood
Perfect submission, all is at rest
I in my Savior, am happy and blessed
Watching and waiting, looking above
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love, oh oh
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long

SUNDAY AND GREEN PASTURES

The small walk in COTTAGE Pantry was worked on yesterday with me scrubbing wood shelves as hubby worked on healing the main house's lawn.  He's been getting advice on what to do with our dying lawn.  He has raked and poked holes in the ground prepping for planting new seeds in hopes of restoring it.  It needs saved from the sad shape it's in at the moment.

Today he may go to the hardware store and purchase a blend of grass seeds with fertilizer planting it in this cooler weather we're having.

At the time, the lawn is a sight.  It doesn't have curb appeal to say come sit on me as I am soft. Aren't I beautiful?  Instead from inside the house as I gaze out onto the lawn, I see a reflection of something being terribly wrong.  Psalm 23 comes to mind as the Lord makes me to lie in green pastures.  The part of the lawn that has died isn't green at all except for a few weeds popping up. Lord, our pasture is in need of deliverance from whatever ails it.

Grubs, army worms, poor soil, neglect, too much heat, not enough nourishment, bad grass seed, worn out...not sure what destroyed our lawn, but something has.  This isn't the best time of year to plant new grass, but something has to be done.  Looking at this dead grass throughout the Summer months and waiting until Autumn to plant isn't a good option.

My Sunday meditation is Psalm 23.

Psalm 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

After planting grass seed, in a few days it should be showing signs of green growth.  Cross our fingers and hope it takes.  Right now the area between the sidewalk and the street is yellow.  No grubs.  We found out that the previous owners had soil poured into the yard to fill in sinking spots.  A neighbor man informed hubby that the soil brought in was high in gravel making for a very poor soil.  He would know as he has lived in the neighborhood for years and has a gorgeous lawn.

Like everything else, things do not grow well in poor soil.  This is something we have not encountered before nor did we stop to think that the soil in the yard was of poor quality.   Never have checked the soil before a purchase.  duh.

When we purchased the property 5 years ago, the lawn was lush and easy on the eye.  Surprise, surprise, surprise....it hasn't stayed that way.  We have TLC to do.  Shopping for grass seed today and possibly tomorrow.  Will get it planted and begin to water.

The small washing machine is whirring in the Kitchen this morning. Towels, white shirts, colorful casual tops and some jeans are lined up to get washed.  Not sure all will get washed today, but am working at getting caught up to where the bottoms of the laundry baskets are visible.  I get a sense of accomplishment when I hit the bottom of the baskets.  The phenomenon never last long and I vow to stay on top of it which sets me up for failure.  A laundry basket full of dirty clothing is a sign that a person has had clothing to wear similar to a sink full of dishes indicates that people have eaten and actually have dishes to use.  Not all bad is it?  Because the chores are not completed doesn't mean they won't get taken care of.  There's always a story behind the display.

Housekeeping is an ongoing activity that indicates how many manage to get everything done that needs done.  It's been a very long time since I kept our HOME as tidy as I like.  Health issues, old age, mismanagement of time, too much on the plate, exhaustion, time restraints, obligations, not being home to do it all contribute to the condition of how clean the HOME gets or remains.  Lord, I need help.

Simplifying is what I am aiming for.  This is work to get to this place.

More to LIFE than always having clean floors to eat off of.  Who does that anyways?  I do like an orderly and clean house and am striving to get there once more.

Today should be a day of rest.  Should be, but will it be?  We all need times to rest and get refreshed.  Lord, I have to remind myself.

Psalm 23 reminds us that in life or in death — in times of plenty or want — God is good and worthy of our trust. The psalm uses the metaphor of a shepherd's care for his sheep to describe the wisdom, strength and kindness of our God.

Psalm 23 portrays God as a good shepherd, feeding (verse 1) and leading (verse 3) his flock. The "rod and staff" (verse 4) are also the implements of a shepherd. Some commentators see the shepherd imagery pervading the entire psalm.

David, a shepherd boy, the author of this psalm and later to be known as the Shepherd King of Israel, writes as a sheep would think and feel about his/her shepherd. “The Lord is my Shepherd” implies a profound yet practical working relationship between a person and the Creator and Savior.

Often, when it comes to the Bible, we are referred to as sheep and the Lord is our shepherd.  He is my shepherd and I am to trust Him completely.  I am to have confidence that He is my GOD and I am His beloved.  I am not alone.  He is my constant companion in sickness and in health.

WEEK-END IN MAY

Saturday arrived and apparently I was exhausted as I slept in. Usually when I wake in the mornings, I try to guess what time it is before looking at the clock.  I was way off on my guess this morning.  Way off.  Surprised it was as late as it was.  Took my morning meds and did my regular routine as to the start of the day which was nearly afternoon.

This morning I sounded like a baritone warming up for a musical concert.  The little tickle in my throat before I went to bed, made its way to my vocal chords and out came a deep baritone voice traveling to my chest.  Stop right there.  I have no use for a chest cold or any other cold for that matter.  More Vitamin C, D3 and Zinc with Selenium.  This wasn't in my plans as I am obviously a very bad planner.

Schedule change.  I'll put laundry away, make a trip to the GRAND COTTAGE to wash and scrub the Pantry shelves, journey back HOME to do more laundry.  If I don't push myself, things will not get done.

Coughing more today and not liking it.

Hubby is taking antibiotics.  I'm taking vitamins.  We are both tired, which isn't something new for us.  He's resting as I type and I need to be.  Later, he hopes to rake the front part of the yard and seed the grass area with new seeds as patches in the lawn have completely died out.  Looks terrible.  Hopefully the seeds will give the lawn some new growth and we'll have a lawn again in a few weeks.

Yesterday, we spent the afternoon and evening at a Regional Track Meet at a upscale school in a tiny, tiny town.  Population about 500 yet they have a very nice school and Hospital.  Many tiny towns have nothing.  This town has an awesome track and field area.  Not sure how it's financed, but it is well taken care of.

We planted ourselves on a hill to watch Grandson participate in the Triple Jump.  The way they do this is beyond me as I have troubles simply walking these days, but the athletes run, do their foot work and jump.  I thought g-son did well.

Later, we moved closer to the track and planted ourselves again on a hill with a great view.

A treat to see daughter and the lil guy who has a tooth.

Triple Jump Grandson

This week, REGIONALS took place.  Both Grandson and Granddaughter participated in this meet.  The weather was wonderful as it wasn't as hot as last weeks event.

Granddaughter ran 4 races and took first in all of her events.  Very exciting!  Off to STATE!

When I look at her, I can't help but think how quickly she has grown up while time flies.  I provided daycare for her when she turned a year old and now she is a young Lady running races.

I am amazed at how fast these children run, jump, throw.  AMAZING.  Watching from the sideline, I used my megaphone to cheer them on, snapped some pictures and tried to film.  Multi-tasking gets more difficult for me as an older woman.

Getting ready for the two miler.

Finishing the RACE with a smile on our faces.  She did it and did it well.

Grandson running.

The TEAM did super and I witnessed it.

Concession food was available and I did my best to support their cause.  Grins.  Hamburgers, nachos and popcorn made its way to me.  Down the hatch.  Can somebody say veggies are on the menu this week-end and I will be eating AMY'S ORGANIC VEGETABLE SOUP for Saturday lunch???  Yep.  I can and have.

After the Track Meet, we drove around the little town to see what we could in the dark.  Dead End.  Making our way back HOME, we stopped off at a North Topeka Walmart as I wanted to pick up a few things.  This Walmart is one of the nicest I've been in for a while.

Clean and well stocked, I picked up some cherries, radishes, beets, cheese, Killer Dave's multi-grained Bread, Amy's Organic Soup, a make-up sharpener, notebook, and then I saw the BRAS.  Bras my size and style I like....easy on, front close, no wire, cushioned straps.

Elation comes to mind as I have been looking for these for a couple of months.  I could have ordered through Amazon, but wanted to personally handle the merchandise.  Old fashioned that way.

I found a couple of my size BRAS that were packaged in the underwear section.  So pleased that I picked up two.  This store had Playtex bras in ze packages!!!  In ze packages.

I've been hunting for some in which the stores I went to did not have packaged bras or front close ones which I really really really like as they are easier to operate with challenged shoulders.  I am challenged for sure.  Over the shoulder bolder holders are much needed.  grins.

Pleasantly surprised to see the type of bras I have been wearing for years.  Like a little kid on Christmas Eve, I was giddy to see these darlin' bras for sell.

Liking the store all the better.  I have found a Walmart store that I will shop in the future.  Out of the place location, new, clean, well stocked.  Tadaah...I am willing to go there all the more over other locations.

They sell AMY's Organic Soup in the can plus Pacific Organic Soup in the box.  Both are priced far less then what I was buying at Natural Grocers.  About half the price.  Winner winner chicken Dinner.  Corny, I know, but hey.

Great day.  Pray more will come.

Now to get to feeling better, get more laundry done and scrub the Pantry wood shelves so I make headway in downsizing our living quarters.  Praise the Lord...great things He has done and is doing.

Off to see what I can get done.

DECORATING

I knew a very frugal Lady named Edith that shared with me a excellent guideline for decorating. She said with ease, "If your room has clean ceilings, floors, and walls, and the windows have nice curtains, you'll have an attractive room."

Ye must be born again.”

BLOSSOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED

BLOSSOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED
As long as I live, I will have to continually submit to God's plan for my life. You will be blessed because you turned your life over to God. Be confessing how good God is and tell Him you agree with who He says He is. BELIEVE and watch miracles happen. Be not afraid. ~Deanna

WISHES

NO MATTER HOW BADLY YOU WISH with all your might that the something devastating that happened in your life hadn't happened and want so badly to go back in time to prevent it from happening...it isn't humanly possible to do this. You can't change the fact that it happened. IT DID. But JESUS can change the MEANING of what happened to you and give you PEACE. He can show you the way in which you are to go. God richly BLESS you. ~Deanna
