MORE ERRANDS TO RUN...on the go again. I would have loved to stay HOME all day today and rest, but there are things to do. Quick trip to Manhattan to drop off a load of donations at GOODWILL. Felt great to donate. Dillons Grocery Store for Starbucks, Wal-Mart for motor oil and batteries, milk and creamer plus berries from Aldi. Returned HOME to unload groceries then drove to a little Mexican Restaurant for supper.
Dropped by Daughter's to give them their Christmas box with their gifts and candy in it. Don't forget the nut cracker. Had a sweet chat and held the baby. He's 3 weeks old and doing well. SO is my Daughter.
On our way HOME, the wind was blowing making the atmosphere suitable for cold weather. As I sit in my recliner, the wind is howling outside as a storm may blow in. We sipped some HOT CHOCOLATE as I began to unwind calling it a day. December on the Prairie has begun and I need to be at peace about it.
Flurries may come on Tuesday. Well, what can I say...brrrrr? Not ready for this. Oh not so ready for this. It will come whether I am ready or not.
This week, I will continue decorating by placing the NATIVITY SCENE out, hanging some garland out and working on Christmas letters/cards. Laundry, typical cleaning, preparing healthier meals, washing dishes, pulling some clothes out of my closet to get rid of, gathering things to turn loose of, day dreaming and making plans to decorate the tiny COTTAGE. A wonderful week.
