FRIDAY! Just ate a healthy lunch with the size portion smaller than usual. Sipping water as I type. Much to do today. A chilly day with grey skies. No snow. NO SNOW IN THE FORECAST. Whaaaaaah. Just cold weather conditions to stay inside. Make the best of it. Where's my hot chocolate?
It's off to town to purchase more glorious storage boxes. This week-end has to be a great time for tubs to be carried downstairs and placed in storage. The vacuum needs ran throughout the house. Glitter and green faux needles sprinkled throughout the house. The faux greenery plus tree shed needles wherever. I found some on the powder room floor. They are easy to spot while sitting on the throne.
We're into January. Praise the LORD!!! January 2021. This first full week, a couple of Grands celebrated a birthday. A friend died. Hubby was given a clean bill of health regarding his colon. The count of the electoral votes took place with much chaos and unrest inside the Capitol Building. Christmas decorations are fading....and it's Friday.
Three trips to town this week is more than usual for me. I'll rest on Sunday. Hope.
WILL YOU BE GETTING THE COVID VACCINATION? I'm waiting for now. Researching and reading. Still out to lunch on this one as some would say. A wait and see vote here. Not sure how long I will wait.
When I look back at 2020 in January, I had the flu with a hacking cough that went on for months. Antibiotics helped, but asthma acted up and even today, I have more issues with it then before. Cough drops help by opening up the passages. They are cheap and big PHARMA isn't making a ton of money off of them and no side effects.
HUBBY is napping so the house is super quiet. Off to the store I need to go AGAIN for more storage tubs, milk and turkey. A quick trip to town will take a good hour. Some of that time would allow me to see the FLINT HILLS as I drive the distance. Getting out of the house helps slow down my pace which is mentally nourishing. I have watched and read way too much about the disturbance that has taken place this week where the counting of the electoral votes was stalled. Where the Capitol Building was stormed.
Where our President during his January 6th Ellipse speech said he would be there with them walking to the Capitol, but remained behind at the White House watching the action on big screen televisions. SO much for walking with them to the Capitol Building. This was not fake news.
It is possible for me to allow too much time on President Trump issues. It is possible to allow Trump to occupy too much space in my head. "Danger danger, Will Robbinson." A LOST IN SPACE quote.
Are we lost in space living on the earth as it rotates around the sun? How much chaos should we entertain?
