Decorating On The Prairie and PRINCESS POWER.

Pleasant Day to you all out there in Blogland!  
DECORATING ON THE PRAIRIE moves on with using PRINCESS POWER for SHUFFLING more furniture.

It seems to be a part of LIFE to shuffle furniture in each home we have lived in.  Home Haven is no exception.  This time I was pleased we shuffled the PRINCESS VANITY into Lil Miss's Bedroom.

Last Summer Sweet Husband bought a OAK Princess Vanity about the time I had surgery for Thyroid Cancer.  Do I dare say it was an emotional buy....yes it was.  I love this piece and have enjoyed it.

Wanted to rearrange the Master Bedroom and thought this piece would be in better use for a little girl.
So we relocated the Princess Vanity into LIL MISS's room.  First words out of her mouth... 
"I love it!"

We are beaded board~ing the walls.  Then painting the room PINK.  Stitching PINK BALLOON SHADES.  Bought curtain material!  Now to just sew the curtains.  New bedding.  Want to get a new ceiling fan with pretty light fixture...princess pretty.  So hoping by Christmas to have the room finished.  Dear Lord, Please let this happen.

The present wall paper is in need of repairs...certain parts of it look alright, but to see the entire room...well....it needs work...worked over.  Looking forward to having this room decorated with bead board.  Pretty sure the closet will be wall papered with little tiny pink hearts.  

OOOOOOOOh if it just all looked like this I would LIVE with it 

for a while and not change it.  BUT it doesn't look like this.

Some people call shuffling and moving items about the house from room to room SHOPPING THE HOUSE.

I FOUND OUT THAT MRS. WHITE'S COMPUTER IS BROKEN AND GOING TO THE LIBRARY TO DO HER COMPUTER WORK TOO DIFFICULT....SO SHE ISN'T GOING TO CONTINUE PUBLISHING THE CHRISTIAN HOME MAGAZINE CARNIVAL.

DISAPPOINTED, BUT SURE LEARNED A GREAT DEAL!

I'm tellin' you I'm trying to catch up

on the summer pics before the week runs out!!!

Just got my pics ran off from the camera to a thumb drive.

The down loading just got done. Hubby has been too busy tending to his sick wife

and working on rebuilding our front porch. He's such a busy guy...wish I could clone him and have a whole staff of hims to get all that needs done finished in a hurry.

That would be somethin'!

~SUMMER WEDDING~

We celebrated in Arkansas at our nephew's Wedding.

Did get some nice pictures that I will post in length later.

~SURGERY~

Thank you all for the words of encouragement

gifts, phone calls, comments and the precious precious prayers.

I am very touched.

My Family rallied around me and this meant so much.

August 5th was the big day for round one.

~SISTER'S VISIT~

The day of my surgery, my sister fell at her home and got a shiner.

She came for a visit. More pics later.

When we were out shopping...

It really did look like we had been mugged or got into a fight.

Still had fun and shopped til I dropped.

~36th ANNIVERSARY~

We had a very nice time celebrating our 36th Wedding Anniversary

a few days ago.

Sweet Hubby gave me a pearl bracelet!

Dinner at Paisano's Ristorante.

A piece of cheese cake to split!

Watched the newly released movie GET LOW at Theater.

An antique Princess Dresser found it's way to HomeHaven

to help brighten up our place.

Love it.

Part of our anniversary present to one another.

~LABOR DAY WEEK-END~

Felt lucky purchasing these Porch Lights from Tuesday Morning.

I've been shopping around but after an ad for these Twin Pack Outdoor Wall Lanterns came across email...thought we'd check to see if the nearest store had them. Yesssss, they did so we bought them.

Decorating HomeHaven with Oil Rubbed Bronze accents and these lamps fit right in.

After the porch is completed the new Lamps will grace the front of HomeHaven.

I will do a HaPpY DANCE after these new lights

replace the old ickky ones hanging on for dear life.

We loaded up on wood to build the porch with.

This week-end HUBBY worked away on the porch while I caught up on laundry.
