One Of Our Finished Projects
~The Family Room Book Shelf~
Welcome to my home on the Prairie
nestled in the Flint Hills of Kansas.
We live in an old 1885 stone house
in need of some tender lovin' care
which is a challenge!
I've learned that it's one thing to remodel
and decorate while living elsewhere....but when you live in the mess as it's going on
that's a animal by another name.
Know what I mean?
If you've lived in the mess as the remodeling is going on
and you're expected to carry on as if nothing is out of place,
you deserve a pat on the back and a metal of Honor in bravery.

There have been layers of old wallpaper to strip
and then plaster repair before the shelf unit began.

We love her!
Hubby puts muscle an' sweat into the projects.
I'm his side kick and assist when I can.
I'm the Photographer, add suggestions, shop with him
and cheer him on!
Tough job...but somebody has to do it.
