THE KSU GARDENS IN MANHATTAN are gorgeous this time of year as the Day Lilies are in bloom. Usually we visit when the Irises are in bloom in May. This is the first year that we took notice of the Day Lilies and walked the grounds. The variety of the different types took my breath away.

AT HOME. WE HAVE SOME ORANGE DAY LILIES GROWING IN OUR BACK YARD. They're beautiful to see. I have no idea what their name is, but they are in brilliant bloom leaning toward the sun rays as the sun changes location throughout the day. Lovely to look at during the daylight.
