We ventured off to LIBERAL, KANSAS to sight see our past stomping grounds. I was stunned at how bad the town looked. Newer parts of TOWN looked nice, but my old stomping grounds made me wonder off into la laaah land of memories.
It was a quick trip just long enough to get a glance at what was where it was and wonder on down the road to thankfulness that I am not still there. I feel like GOD has delivered me from the muck and mire and gently positioned me into a better place. It took years. Years.
I am regenerated to get back into the mode of SPRING CLEANING my present place and get on with LIFE. Thankful to be where I am NOW verses where I came from. Yes, I am in an older body with wrinkles which has difficulty walking as I once did, but I am young at heart.
I'm not putting down the fine people of Liberal, but I am so THANKFUL to be out of there. LIFE is too short to be LIVING in LIBERAL. Some places are best left in the past. A memory.

DAUGHTER'S PIE CRUST RECIPE
Pie Crust Recipe.
With her permission I share her recipe with you. BLESS your family, friends and your taste buds with this wonderful crust.
Pie Crust Recipe
1 cup flour
3 heaping tablespoons of shortening
A dash of salt
A tiny bit of ice cold water
Mix ingredients together well.
Roll out on wax paper.
Assemble pie.
Spread a little milk on top of crust before baking.
Simply delicious,
