Autumn Fun at HomeHaven happens with black construction paper, white tempera paint, a pan on a covered floor with little hands and feet that want to play in the paint to create BOO Cards and painted pumpkins. This is a great project for youngsters.Tempera paint is inexpensive, dries quickly and is easily washed off of hands and feet.
Start out by folding the construction paper into a card shape. The upside down foot print will become the body of a ghost.
Dip foot into tempera paint and step onto card to make a ghost shape.
Let card dry. Then with a magic marker draw eyes, mouth and the BOO! Personalize the inside of the card with message and maybe even tape a piece of candy inside for a treat.
Tempera Paint goes along ways. Hand painting the pumpkins is a fun project for little ones. Just ask Toddler. She'll tell you it was sooooo much funnnnn.
