I'm Rich, Have A Handsome Boyfriend and Bought The Dress Of My Dreams!
Gosh, You Guys.......I had a lucky streak on New Year's Eve playing The Barbie Queen of Prom game with my Daughter and Lil Miss. I didn't get crowned Queen or Princess of the Prom, but declared I was a winner 'cauz I had cash on hand, won the heart of a handsome boyfriend that wanted to go steady, and bought the cutest formal dress to wear to the Prom!
Catch a glimpse.
We snacked on healthy munchies, played this board game, watched The Smurf Movie
and an old John Wayne Western then RANG in the New Year!

Snow gently fell all evening long
and we had no place to go but where we were.

Granny Nanny and Winter Blessings With Barbie
As Winter closed in and the temps chilled, my heart embraced the Season with admiring the Holiday decorations and the Message of Christ's Birth. The symbolism that points toward Christ's Birth and all that He represents grows more meaningful to me with each passing year.
Family gathers and we made time to be together. There's fellowship, gifts, food, fun and life. The cold temps outside are forgotten as we gather indoors in the presence of one another. Our hearts are warmed. The world fades.

As we got together for after Christmas Time....we girls played Barbie Dolls with Lil Miss at my Folk's Dinner Table. Grins. We were girly girls.

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS
SELECTING THE CORRECT SIZE CHANDY TO USE IN A ROOM MADE EASY. FORMULA MEASUREMENTS: Measure the room's height and width. Add together the numbers. Example: 8' x 10' room is 8 plus 10= 18" Use a 18" wide chandy. OR Take width of room calculating 2" for every foot. Example: 15' wide room. Take 15 times 2 = 30. Room needs 30" wide chandy. Standard distance between the bottom of the chandelier to the top of the table is 30 inches. When hanging the chandelier, make sure to hang it at the proper height. The bottom of a chandelier over a dining table or kitchen island should hang 30 to 32 inches above the top of the table or island. Most rooms call for at least 7 feet of space between the bottom of the chandelier and the floor.
