'Life Just Got A Little Easier'
Prairie Biscuits
Dining On The Prairie served up hot food with Prairie Biscuits to enjoy.
Hubby did the BAKING on this one. The biscuits turned out nice 'n fluffy.
Wonderful with REAL BUTTER.
~PRAIRIE BISCUITS~
Ingredients
4 cups of self-rising flour
1 cup of shortening
pinch of salt
1 and a half cups of milk
1 and a half cups of buttermilk
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Grease cooking sheet.
In large metal bowl, add 4 cups of self-rising flour,
shortening, pinch of salt, milk and buttermilk.
Stir until well blended.
Drop biscuit mixture by spoonful onto cookie sheet.
Bake for 15minutes.

PRAIRIE BISCUITS are delicious
with gravy, bacon and eggs.
