1/2 Birthday

ZOOM ZOOM... We journeyed to Oklahoma to drop in to see FAMILY.  Because of the flu we were not able to attend our Grandson's February birthday.  I didn't want to mail his gift to him along with Easter treats.  Figured that we'd spend as much on postage as fuel for the car.  We wouldn't be able to see them if I mailed the things.  Quick trip, but meaningful.

My Grand-daughter mentioned that I didn't blog about her November Birthday turning 16.  I'm not sure why I didn't.  I thought I had, but it was left in my archives.  Soooo to catch up, I'm wishing her a very HAPPY 1/2 year Birthday before she turns a day older.  Hello!

~16 Bottles of OPI Nail Polish~

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to a sweetie.

She loves doing her nails and whenever I visit she does my nails.

Thought 16 bottles for her 16th Birthday was a ideal gift.

I had wrapped individual bottles in paper napkins.  She knew that she was getting polish, but with them being wrapped up she had to work to see what color of polish she got.

Easy ENUFF and Birthdays BLESSINGS

Still, it's a pleasure to know that Grands have birthdays.  THREE Grands with February birthdays.  I remember how excited I was having childhood birthdays, eating cake, and getting a special gift from family.  I hope these three are just as excited with a birthday.  Two of the three are getting their gifts late.  I have been running behind.  So sick...hard to function.

THREE GRANDSONS have birthdays in February.  We weren't able to be in person for all due to the flu.  It's been a rough haul with this flu and irritated asthmatic cough.  RUFF...ruff.

We celebrated our new Grandson's birthday by eating Cowboy Pizza and watching him blow out his birthday candles on a sheet of brownies.  He opened some gifts and had a friend spend the night with him.  We visited and watch others play pool.

Very nice evening with family.  When Hubby and I returned HOME we watched an old movie with Robert Redford.  After I started watching it, I thought I've seen this before, but could not remember the movie's ending.  It was at the theaters 2001.  THE LAST CASTLE.

Did I like it?  It was interesting with a different plot.  Yes, I liked it and found it to be a thriller.  Interesting.

THINK this week-end is going like it was suppose to.  Slow paced and even slower outcome.  The temps are SPRING like with the skies turning grey.  Peaceful day and I'm about to watch via internet our weekly DIEt videos.  Hearing, it's not WHAT you eat...but HOW and WHEN you eat.  

I'm so bold as to disagree.  It does matter WHAT you eat.  WHAT cannot be candy, candy, candy.  Starchy vegetables all the time.  FAT, FAT, Fattttttttttt.

So I will nevah be a FOOD GURU in charge of a big company eating my  M A S S  off.  

Truthfully, I will eat smaller portions of foods, chew longer and take a slower pace at eating.  Eating more vegetables, drinking more water and walking more.  Easy enough.
