WAKING TO THE SOUNDS OF SPRING SHOWERS AND THUNDER in the early hours of the morning. Moisture from the heavens to water the out of doors. Resting. Since being ill, we slept in this morning without waking to an alarm clock. I am better, but not wonderful so my morning was spent researching about landscaping and the AMISH way.

Some bills were paid on line. The months are passing quickly and it seems like we just paid our COTTAGE INSURANCE. Paid, paid, paid.
I know that there's a more excellent way to live when it comes to bills. Number one best way to save money is to actually save it and not spend it. When I was a newly wed, I used the ENVELOPE METHOD where I sorted out money into individual categories and when the money was gone, it was gone until the next PAY PERIOD. We didn't have a checking account! Can you believe this? Back in the day, we did not. I use checks now also the plastic Bank Card for cash transactions. Very small amounts of cash are on hand. Works well for us these days. As we downsize and simplify, I have plans to have less paper to deal with and less bills.
When our Bank switched from returning the actual check to us in the mail and just sent statements with check images, I protested. I did not like it at all. I wanted the actual contract which was the paper check in my hand. As time passed, I got use to how the bank did things and now I keep the paper statements. I know in time this service will be done away with and the images will be on the computer screen. How do I feel about this? Hesitant. I don't think I'll like this.
TODAY, we are on the verge of the week-end. Friday arrived faster than I could imagine. Getting ready to make a trip over to the COTTAGE taking our WINTER COATS and my TEA POT COLLECTION. The car will be reloaded after we get there with boxes of mid-century BOOPIE GLASSES that I will auction. Next I need to round up the MILK GLASS COLLECTION I have.
I'll work at clearing out the pink bedroom as HUBBY said we can get the Bedroom Set brought over and have a bedroom to rest in as we work. So I'll work at clearing out this room where I have boxes of dolls. They have to be gone through and downsized. I'll be boxing dolls up once again to free up the room and also empty the two curio cabinets that are holding the brunt of my DOLL COLLECTION since the curios will be auctioned as well. Much to do on this Spring cool temp day.
NOW FOR THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM. What would you do with $!@% MILLION DOLLARS IF YOU HAD IT? For sure you'd create a Coronation for the incoming KING of ENGLAND wouldn't you? It is the people who will be paying for this big shindig. The people. Not the KING himself. The people. That seems to be the way it goes. Even with our elections here in the states. President Trump is a Billionaire, yet he wants common folk to pay for his campaign.
Several things are changing with the KING's Coronation then when his mother became QUEEN. King Charles will become the DEFENDER OF THE FAITHS instead of the Defender of THE FAITH. He is welcoming FALSE RELIGIONS as if they are THE TRUTH, THE WAY and THE LIFE. Jesus is being kicked to the curb and dethroned.
KING CHARLES is denying THE FAITH at LONDON's WESTMINSTER ABBEY that's dedicated to none other than JESUS himself where his mother held her Coronation. I wonder what Jesus thinks about this?
A first instead of just the ones placed to work with his majesty, KING CHARLES, he wants THE PEOPLE to pledge allegiance to King Charles. Hum. Wonder what the people are saying about this?
How many starving people could be helped and saved with $125 MILLION used to assist them? $125 MILLION...seems unreal for such a ceremony that will be recorded with pictures and videos.
Will I watch the CORONATION? Not sure. I believe my time needs to be dedicated to getting on with COTTAGE LIVING as this is what I need to do to become more independent.
