I can't WAIT for it to warm up to go shopping.

I need to go now.  

Just bundle up to get out there red scarf and all.

Will be going to a DOCTOR's APPOINTMENT later

and hope to squeeze some shopping in as well.

Dear LORD, Please give me strength.

Busy Bee

VERY PRODUCTIVE DAY YESTERDAY and today I feel it.  This happens to me when I stay really physically busy one day and the next...well.  I get through the day and then the next day is awful.  Pacing myself is an art form that I have been getting use to.  I know I'll pay for it one way or another.  

Bit the bullet and got one.

Paid the Natural Gas bill by phone (this was worthwhile saving energy and time), cancelled auto insurance on a car we turned loose of, researched medicines for more budget friendly product, went by McDonalds to get some unsweetened iced tea and chicken nuggets for a hunger saver, drove 15 miles over to the Court House to surrender the car tag, journeyed to Topeka so Hubby could have some blood work done, GOD's STOREHOUSE THRIFT SHOP for a peanut butter cookie and cheap coffee, fueled the auto, early supper with nice visit together as Husband and Wife, Menards for a collapsible wagon and Watkins ALL PURPOSE CLEANER...then drove by the small cottage to check things over.  By this time I am tired.  Drove HOME in the dark and put my feet up.  Fell asleep in the chair.

Television comes on late at night for some PBS entertainment.  HOWARDS END.

Often considered E.M. Forster’s masterpiece, Howards End is the story of two independent and unconventional sisters and the men in their lives seeking love and meaning as they navigate an ever-changing world.

Academy Award winning screenwriter Kenneth Lonergan brings a fresh take to this adaptation. Margaret Schlegel (Hayley Atwell, Captain America: The First Avenger) is an intelligent, idealistic young woman who is courted by the older Henry Wilcox (Matthew Macfadyen, Succession), a self-made conservative businessman, after his wife Ruth Wilcox (Julia Ormond) dies unexpectedly and he becomes owner of Howards End.

Meanwhile Margaret’s passionate and capricious younger sister Helen Schlegel (Philippa Coulthard) takes up the cause of Leonard Bast (Joseph Quinn), a young bank clerk who falls on hard times at work and at home with his partner Jacky (Rosalind Eleazar). In the absence of their late parents, the sisters’ loving but interfering Aunt Juley (Tracey Ullman) tries to keep the young ladies and their brother Tibby (Alex Lawther) on the straight and narrow.

A few years ago I saw the 1992 version with Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson.  Seriously, I like the 2020 version better.

  

THEN THERE's SANDITON and VIENNA BLOOD.

Off to bed and slept like a rock.  The tireds carried over into Tuesday morning.  There's that paying for a previous active day.  That's fine.  I will do what I can inside the house at a slow pace.  So very tired.

I'd like to shampoo my hair, curl it in huge curlers to air dry.  After it's dried, go wash and dry some bed sheets, make up the Guest bed with fresh sheets.  Not sure how far I will get as tired as I am.  Play it by ear.  For now...it's coffee time.

Often I give it thought as to what needs done around here as I am the Head Housekeeper and Mistress.  This week the Bedrooms will be worked on getting them presentable.  Much clutter to deal with.  I need a staff.
  

It's suppose to snow today.  I'd love to watch the flakes gently swirl downwards.  Forget the blizzards.  

Like this idea and may use it to store a multitude of china cups.

Almost the middle of the week.
