Forsythia Wreath

What a great way to wake up this morning!

I got to sleep in and sleep in I did. During the week, I talk about what I hope to get done over the week-ends. On the agenda was putting away the wintery door wreaths and getting the springy ones hung on the doors.

The wreaths (at this point in life) are stored in the detached garage. My Hubby's domain. He doesn't like it when I want to rearrange his territory. Getting into the garage is a major ordeal...if I showed you pictures, you'd vapor lock for sure. So I will spare you. (Aren't I kind???)

Anyways...when I got around to sipping on my coffee, I noticed through the window, my sweetheart walking around outside. When I opened the door to let him inside...there on the door was my bright yellow forsythia wreath! Fantastic!!! He had already done the footwork and took care of the wreaths.

Now you know it doesn't take a whole lot to get me excited about SpRiNg. I was delighted to see what he had done. So surprised and delighted.

What a great way to wake up on a grey and dreary Kansas Saturday.

I am SpRiNg CLEANING this week-end.
Crack the whip and get it done.

I love you all the way from the Prairie.

DECORATING

I knew a very frugal Lady named Edith that shared with me a excellent guideline for decorating. She said with ease, "If your room has clean ceilings, floors, and walls, and the windows have nice curtains, you'll have an attractive room."

John 3:7

“Marvel not that I said unto thee,

Ye must be born again.”

King James Version (KJV)

PSALM 118:17

I shall not die,
but live, and declare
the works of the Lord.

PROVERBS 24:3-4

By wisdom
a house is built,
and through understanding

it is established;
through
knowledge

its rooms are filled with rare

and beautiful treasures.

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS
SELECTING THE CORRECT SIZE CHANDY TO USE IN A ROOM MADE EASY. FORMULA MEASUREMENTS: Measure the room's height and width. Add together the numbers. Example: 8' x 10' room is 8 plus 10= 18" Use a 18" wide chandy. OR Take width of room calculating 2" for every foot. Example: 15' wide room. Take 15 times 2 = 30. Room needs 30" wide chandy. Standard distance between the bottom of the chandelier to the top of the table is 30 inches. When hanging the chandelier, make sure to hang it at the proper height. The bottom of a chandelier over a dining table or kitchen island should hang 30 to 32 inches above the top of the table or island. Most rooms call for at least 7 feet of space between the bottom of the chandelier and the floor.

WISHES

NO MATTER HOW BADLY YOU WISH with all your might that the something devastating that happened in your life hadn't happened and want so badly to go back in time to prevent it from happening...it isn't humanly possible to do this. You can't change the fact that it happened. IT DID. But JESUS can change the MEANING of what happened to you and give you PEACE. He can show you the way in which you are to go. God richly BLESS you. ~Deanna
