Think this Childhood Tablescape is a winner

for setting a mood.

Delicate and tiny items to play with

would have made my heart sing as a child. 

As an adult seeing the items placed in this room was a treat.

 

The Sunday afternoon we stopped by for a tour

was blistering hot outside so seeing this fine mansion was extra fun. 

A very fine example of how a stately home

might have been decorated in that historical era.

Entertaining would improve and be enhanced by having

PROPER GUESTS PRESENT at your table.

We had a great time seeing the first landmark in the state of Missouri

to receive a Historic Preservation Grant from the Federal Government.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit!  If we were to stay awhile in the CHILDHOOD BEDROOM
and played 'HAVE TEA WITH ME' we'd visit about days gone by and what we liked seeing in this lovely house filled with wonderful treasures.  I know we would.  We'd giggle and make memories.

Whatever you're going through, may it not be to where you forget to relish this PRESENT day of LIFE for it is a GIFT from God.  Take a deep breath and relax.  Unwind as we sip imaginary tea and munch on calorie free cookies that you can eat all you want because they're just soooooo good.
