Dear Ones, How is your day going? Did you have a good week-end?
Back from Saint Louis. The traveling always seems to catch up with me and I have to push myself to get going. I was emotional on Monday.
Though I had a wonderful visit with my Son and Grandson, I'm brokenhearted over my daughter-in-law divorcing my son. So very sad. Processing. My heart goes out to those that never wanted a divorce in the first place. My heart goes out......being brokenhearted can last awhile.
Are you hurting in one way or another? I am. So I will turn to the great I AM. That would be Jesus. Amen.
In the Bible, PSALM 147:3 states that HE heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
PSALM 34:18 says, The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
I choose to embrace the words of the LIVING GOD over human psyche. I will hold tight to His words for they are TRUTH. LORD, be close to me and heal my hurts. Praying for my Son. Will you join me? I'm praying for my Grandson. Will you join me? I'm praying for my daughter-in-law. Will you join me?
How many times have there been hurting people and no body seems to care that they are hurting? So many. The LORD cares.
After taking Grand Lil Miss to school this morning, I took a drive about the Community to enjoy the slow pace. The traffic is nothing. As I walked across the yard to the front flower bed, I could see that Crocuses are pushing through the soil. Way too early for this. It's freezing outside.
Taking a breather.....sipping coffee, laundry going, bed made, dishes done, walked 100 steps up and down stairs, looked over bills, writing out medical payments, unpacking from week-end to Saint Louis, finally taking Christmas Ornaments off of Parlour Tree, clearing Dining room table.
Deserve a breather.
Warmed some cottage cheese in a cup for my Lunch. I love cottage cheese. Have you ever nuked sprinkled cinnamon on top of cottage cheese resting on a piece of bread in the Micro-wave?
It's a long time favorite of mine from Weight Watchers Days gone by. So is Taco Potatoes made from Turkey. If nothing else, I have these two dishes to recall.
I purchased the cutest multicolored sweater from Dollar General. Half OFF. Whah HOO. Love it when it comes together. Washed her and she is now drying on the radiator. Need a new pair of blue jeans. Which reminds me....I must go move a armful of my dresses from one closet to another.

Whew. That was a workout. Not so many items left to keep. Making a pile of things to go bye-bye. This is huge for me for I am one tough nut to crack when it comes to turning loose of my OLD CLOTHING. You know in the Bible where it says the ISRAELITES wore their clothing for 40 years? I think I have taken this too personal and am trying to out do them.
SPRING is 56 days away.
I will have reached my goal and cleaned out the closets and drawers. Next comes casual clothes, coats and sweaters.
My SOUL is in need of some CLEANING OUT THE OLD and replacing it with newness in thoughts. The washing and renewing of the mind comes from the LORD's Word and Spirit. Amen.
