DOLLIES TO EMBRACE. Can you imagine winning a Shirley Temple DOLL? DOLL LOVERS everywhere did. Wish I had one. Maybe two. These are sweet before the Christmas Tree. DO you have a Shirley Temple Doll? I have one. Only one and she isn't old. Also she doesn't have posable body parts.
When I think of Shirley Temple I think of ANIMAL CRACKERS IN MY SOUP. Animal crackers in my soup. Who doesn't love animal crackers in their soup? AND THE GOOD SHIP LOLLIPOP taking a trip to the candy shop....

GREY GREY GREY SKIES today of all days. Weather man is expecting snow on Sunday. I think I'm alright with that. Looking out the window as I type seems like it could snow right now. This week is flying so Sunday will be here before I know it.
THE CHRISTMAS TREE is up! Lights come next. Plans for tonight and ornaments on FRIDAY. I always LOVE seeing just the lights on the tree before the ornaments begin to appear. This has been a slow process.
Next year, I hope the tree goes up on THANKSGIVING DAY with the lights twinkling. This would be awesome. This year we weren't HOME to set the tree up at THANKSGIVING. We seem to wait until the month of DECEMBER until the big event and the days get away from us. Next thing we know it's almost CHRISTMAS. We'll leave the tree up until Epiphany.
Next week I hope to do some baking for CHRISTMAS. DO a little CHRISTMAS SHOPPING. Write my Christmas letter and get the cards in the mail.
Slowing down helps my blood pressure and prevents a bad case of the nerves. Remembering the LORD is what counts.

DAUGHTER'S PIE CRUST RECIPE
Pie Crust Recipe.
With her permission I share her recipe with you. BLESS your family, friends and your taste buds with this wonderful crust.
Pie Crust Recipe
1 cup flour
3 heaping tablespoons of shortening
A dash of salt
A tiny bit of ice cold water
Mix ingredients together well.
Roll out on wax paper.
Assemble pie.
Spread a little milk on top of crust before baking.
Simply delicious,
