SENIOR MOMENT

WANTING TO PURCHASE SOME CHEWABLE GINGER knowing SUGAR CREEK sells it, I had every intention of getting some and completely forgot to pick some up yesterday when we ate lunch there.  duh and a half.

I didn't even think about it until this morning when reading up on how to naturally deal with asthma and the articles mention eating GINGER.  So I had best deliberately make a trip to St. Mary's to purchase some this morning and go ahead and make a trip to MENARDS to purchase a filter for the humidifier and some JR WATKINS NATURAL CAMPHOR OINTMENT.

I think I had best pick up some pineapple with juice from the grocery store because it has BROMELAIN in it to help with health issues.

1) SUGARCREEK ginger.
2) Menards Watkins and filter.
3) Hy-Vee for pineapple and yogurt.
4) Starbuck's GREEN TEA.

I have one more antibiotic pill to take this afternoon.  Breathing is far easier, but the coughing continues.  This has been a very bad episode for me and now my dear Husband is battling the issues that come from irritated lungs from asthma to the beginnings of bronchitis.  HOME REMEDIES will be used to alleviate the issues.  The burning of the prairie has made us incredibly ill this year.  If I can get this burned into my brain that we cannot be around the intense smoke next year, I'm hoping we will stay healthier.  It is disheartening to get so sick from something the local prairie dwellers do to further their cause to keep the prairie from issues they do not want.

Having asthma is one thing, but having the lungs irritated by environmental smoke leads to asthma attacks which can really make one ill.  We are ill this year because of it.  SO ill.

The burning begins in late February.  By the end of March, thick smoke settles in the valleys and throughout the area in town and out.  Constant coughing happened.  Three weeks later, the constant and hard coughing with thick mucus makes my eyes cross and I find myself gasping to catch my breath.  Stuffed up nose, runny nose.  Congestion.  Whirring in the chest.  Not fun nor is it healthy.

The lung irritation is aggravated which doesn't just magically disappear.  I have got to use COMMON SENSE to help with LIFE'S CHALLENGES when it comes to health issues.  Being a SENIOR is no excuse to be stupid.

I can tell that I do have what is called SENIOR MOMENTS at times by being forgetful like forgetting the ginger at the store where I ate lunch.   I have to do things to help with the health issues.  I can't totally rely on medicine from a pharmacy.  OLD FASHIONED HOME REMEDIES are going to be a part of the PLAN to get healthier and to stay healthier.  Foods and beverages plus herbs are going to be part of my PLAN.

If our government makes it harder to get our hands on old fashioned remedy items then they are not a friend to the people.  This government of the people, for the people and by the people has gone into hiding.  Perhaps it was never there.

Who owns whom?  Whom owes who?  Big Pharma own our government or does the government own big Pharma?  Or are they the same thing?  Do the billionaires run it all?  How much control do we the people really have?

Off to the store I need to go,

DECORATING

I knew a very frugal Lady named Edith that shared with me a excellent guideline for decorating. She said with ease, "If your room has clean ceilings, floors, and walls, and the windows have nice curtains, you'll have an attractive room."

John 3:7

“Marvel not that I said unto thee,

Ye must be born again.”

King James Version (KJV)

PSALM 118:17

I shall not die,
but live, and declare
the works of the Lord.

PROVERBS 24:3-4

By wisdom
a house is built,
and through understanding

it is established;
through
knowledge

its rooms are filled with rare

and beautiful treasures.

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS
SELECTING THE CORRECT SIZE CHANDY TO USE IN A ROOM MADE EASY. FORMULA MEASUREMENTS: Measure the room's height and width. Add together the numbers. Example: 8' x 10' room is 8 plus 10= 18" Use a 18" wide chandy. OR Take width of room calculating 2" for every foot. Example: 15' wide room. Take 15 times 2 = 30. Room needs 30" wide chandy. Standard distance between the bottom of the chandelier to the top of the table is 30 inches. When hanging the chandelier, make sure to hang it at the proper height. The bottom of a chandelier over a dining table or kitchen island should hang 30 to 32 inches above the top of the table or island. Most rooms call for at least 7 feet of space between the bottom of the chandelier and the floor.

WISHES

NO MATTER HOW BADLY YOU WISH with all your might that the something devastating that happened in your life hadn't happened and want so badly to go back in time to prevent it from happening...it isn't humanly possible to do this. You can't change the fact that it happened. IT DID. But JESUS can change the MEANING of what happened to you and give you PEACE. He can show you the way in which you are to go. God richly BLESS you. ~Deanna
