Spending my morning looking over the bills to pay, thumbing through old magazines to pitch and resting. Another round of ill health for me. The coughing has let up some, but newest friend is still the throne. Politely speaking...doing the paperwork in the bathroom. I gave at the OFFICE.
Two medical bills were zeroed out. This is the good report for this cold, bitter day in January. Another one is being whittled down very, very, very slowly with another one increasing due to dental work about to happen. Lord, have mercy. It's gettin' to me how this medical thing causes bloated balances. Keeping my head above water has been challenging. The love notes from the facilities that I owe are nothing new. I do not like receiving them. I know I owe and I do the best I can to pay the bills, but in reality, I can only pay so much per bill.
Not sure how much more will come to challenge my health. Today I'm suppose to take another VITAMIN D pill. I had 12 pills to take and I'm on pill number 5. Thought I had better read what the signs are if receiving too much D. This is when I read you should also take Vitamin K along with D so one's calcium doesn't build up causing kidney stones. If it isn't one thing, it's 5 other things.
Being more educated in the vitamin department surely will pay off. Surely.
In March, I'll have labs done to see where my Vitamin D level is as well as TSH. I will do my best to lose 5 pounds by then. That's not very much weight, but if I can lose it, I'd be mighty proud. Thank you very much.
If I can mustard up the energy, I need to sanitize the interior of the fridge. Add that to my things to do. The variety of berries I bought went to ruin because I didn't get to them due to flu. Try again COWGIRL.
Hostiles is a 2017 American revisionist western film written and directed by Scott Cooper, based on a story by Donald E. Stewart. It stars Christian Bale, Rosamund Pike, Wes Studi, Ben Foster, Stephen Lang, Jesse Plemons, Rory Cochrane, Adam Beach, Q'orianka Kilcher, Timothée Chalamet and Scott Wilson in his final film role. It follows a U.S. Army cavalry officer who must escort a Cheyenne war chief and his family back to their home in Montana in 1892.
The film had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival on September 2, 2017, and had a limited release in the United States by Entertainment Studios beginning December 22, 2017, before going wide on January 26, 2018. It received generally positive reviews from critics and grossed $35 million worldwide.
Speaking of cowgirls....we watched a 2017 movie with Christian Bale and Rosamund Pike which are two British actors acting as Americans. They did quite well in the acting department. 'HOSTILES' was a good movie and I might watch it again.
It. was. good. I hadn't heard of it before and it was a decent flick.
