~FRONT DOOR~
Pretty nice front door we've enjoyed in our old house.
White on the inside and green on the exterior.
Just guessing, but I'm calling this door a Colonial Design.
If you can call it this. Forgive me.
I'm not really up on the legal terms of interior decorating.
Know what I mean.
The door is aging.
We bought a Victorian Door
for $60 that we came across in Council Grove, Kansas
that's close to the design on our present Dining room door.
Wanted the two front doors on this house to look similar,
not one a Victorian and one a Colonial Revival.
Wanted both doors to be similar.
Our front door was switched.
The NEW old door will need painted on the interior
and exterior side stripped, stained and varnished.
Waiting for warmer temps to continue.
For now.......the door is repaired,
a door knob attached and door installed!
The door is in place.
Wonderful.

The two front doors on Home Haven
when we bought our old stone house in 2006.
The two front doors on the house now.
Not identical, but close enough and loving it.
White door will be stripped, stained and varnished
to look as close to the oak colored one.
The door rested in the garage for close to 6 years.....needed some tender loving care. Not much room to work in Garage, so Hubby (bless his heart) made it happen in our torn up KITCHEN and the front porch.
Back to business.
He has returned to working on the remodeling the Kitchen.
