Living room back in the 1950s.

Dad is holding me. 

My siblings and I are all in their pajamas.  

I cannot remember where we all slept.

Grandma had one bedroom on the main floor and one upstairs.  

My Sister and I had curlers in our hair.  
That means it was a Saturday night and we'd be going to Church in the morning.

Not everyone has a "Daddy"

My prayer for you today is that you be comforted by our Lord

and allow Him to help you be all that you are meant to be.

My Dad doesn't know me at times. 
That hurts. 
He's very frail.
Still...he is here in the physical.
I love him and am thankful for the good he showed me
through the years.

First Day Of SPRING

Spring HAS Sprung!!!

Yesterday was the official LAST day of Winter.

I'm so HaPpY I could cry.

We had a THUNDERstorm and rain.
The first one for us in 2011.

This morning the sky is powder blue!

Temperatures expected to be nice...68
degrees right now!

A BEAUTIFUL Sunday to be alive.

PRAISE the LORD

for pretty days like today.

This past week the weather was nice.

While looking at the Flower Beds

green was popping through the ground.

Signs of Spring for sure.


Lilies, Tulips, Crocus and Grape Hyacinths
are showing up.
Gets me excited...

Buds on the Lilac Bush

Signs of Spring refreshes me and oh how I need refreshed!

HOME HAVEN.

Spring Hopefuls:

Drink more water and eat more veggies

Exercise

Clean on house

Yardwork continues

Paperwork filed

Family room completely prepped for wallpapering

Start new Prayer Journal

Spring clothing ready to go

Windows of house cleaned inside and out
Restocking the Pantry
Going through closets, drawers, garage for thinning out to get more organized
PRAYING FOR A HOLY SPIRIT REVIVAL FOR MY COUNTRY

Almighty God,
Help me to smile today.
May I do what is right in your eyes and know it.
Please help the devastated people of Japan.
What would you have me to do?
Lord, the nuclear reactors need cooled and disabled.
We need your protection from all harm.
And Father...may your Holy Spirit fall a fresh on my country so that those that don't know you 
grow hungry for your holiness and your righteousness.
Thank you for Spring and the new beginnings that will come!
