Dr. William Howard Hay wrote a book HEALTH VIA FOOD
after he struggled with health issues.
Checking the Public Library to see if they have it or can order in their Library Loan. Hope I can get my hands on it to read during the month of OCTOBER. FOUND IT!
Will read a little everyday and get better acquainted with how to group certain foods together to eat together.
OLD WOMAN COMPLAINTS. Have been hobbling about for about 5 and a half weeks. Icing the backs of my feet this morning with cloth covered frozen green peas in bags. Ice them for 20 to 30 minutes a session.
Thought I had Plantar Fasciitis, but now think it's the achilles tendons as the pain is on the backs of my feet and not so much the bottoms. Tis the strip of skin and muscle that ache so. Almost feels bruised. Painful to walk. While I ice them I do wiggle and stretch the feet. Rotate them in circles.
This morning my feet feel much better after icing them several times a day. My neck still is stiff and hurts. Mercy...if it isn't one thing it's 5 other. While I sit I do allow my thoughts to wonder off out of this chair and think of things to do to the house when I can manage to get to them.
My calendar is filling up with appointments and obligations. Will be a busy month and will try to make the best of my time. Hopefully my energy level will increase as my thyroid meds decrease. Vitamins taken, protein drinks drank, vegetables enjoyed, water sipped, rest, exercise and fresh air. Laundry caught up. AUTUMN CHORES continued. Paperwork gone through. Bible readings meditated upon. Writing continued. It's just a matter of doing it.
HUBBY worked this week-end on our lawn. Weeded the flowerbeds. Mowed the large lawn and began edging it. I have a thing about edged yards. LIKE THEM. When we lived in TEXAS, I would edge the grass as the TEXAS NATIVES did this. It really was the first time I ever really noticed that people edged their lawns. After I got the hang of it, I edged as well. Wider strips edged along the sidewalk looked so manicured and clean. We're getting there. He wore a blade out and will have to get another to finish this task.
The months of August and September have been flowerbed and lawn months. Taking great shape.
