Found Guilty

VERDICT IS IN.
FOUND GUILTY.

Today as I was taking Lil Miss to school and was out in the bitter cold,   I found myself confessing that Winter is here all over again.  VERDICT is in and I am GUILTY of disliking the cold.  The Bank Time and Temp sign blinked 18 degrees.

I am guilty of wanting the month of March to disappear.  Poof.  Be gone.

It may very well be one of the least liked months of the year for me.  I'm sorry to say....by March I'm getting anxious for a milder climate with flowers.

To Winter down south would be very enjoyable.  Guilty.  I confess.  I wouldn't mind living where the temps were a tad bit warmer in the Winter.

Cold winds blew over the week-end as I sat inside listening to howling coming through the windows. This morning the birds continue to tweet and sing as if SPRING is already here.  So cold out.  The weather man said it would warm up by the end of the week, but he has been off the mark before.  Guilty.  Hope he is right on this time because we hope to clean out a storage unit.

SPRING BREAK starts and after the unit is cleared......i'm gitty......the Kitchen will be underway.  Pics for sure. Bare with me.  I am sooooo excited.  I looked over our Kitchen drawings and sighed.  Soon.  Very soon.  I am praying for VICTORY!  Let it happen.

I will not be fixing Easter Dinner this year.  I'll be doing good to BOIL some EGGS.  That's alright.  I'll be thinking on the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord.  That is the main thing.  EASTER.

Pat myself on the back, the Grandchildren's Easter treats are finished.  Now to get the Oklahoma package in the mail.

Missouri treat was dropped off by Hubby as he made a trip to Saint Louis over the week-end.  Lil Miss will receive hers in three weeks.  Mercy sakes that's good for me to have them completed and waiting.  I'd like to fix a treat for my folks.  Need to get Easter cards in the mail.

We still have a POST OFFICE.  May it stay open.

While my hubby was out of town.....our Airedale decided to break out of her kennel.  She used her mouth to pull metal bolts out of the kennel gate.  Daughter went to feed our pups and the gate just fell off the hinges.  WHAT?  She has been known to open the metal gate before by using her nose to lift the flip up latch, but to pull the bolts out of the hinges......I'm not sure what we'll do, but leave her to run the back yard.

She started moving a board that was placed on the ground in front of our wood yard gate to keep her in the yard. She was looking for her DADDY...my husband.

We will more than likely have a vet bill for having her teeth fixed or pulled.  She has broke her bottom teeth off from pulling the metal bolts.  Oh puppy.  This makes my stomach hurt.

Cleaned the Family room.  Vacuumed the area rug and rolled it to vac the underside.  Moved some furniture around to get behind and under.  I have some organizing that needs done.  This week I will continue to transfer the Kitchen shelves into the Dining room.

There goes my Dining room.  Guilty.

Verdict's in.
I'm GITTY,
d

DECORATING

I knew a very frugal Lady named Edith that shared with me a excellent guideline for decorating. She said with ease, "If your room has clean ceilings, floors, and walls, and the windows have nice curtains, you'll have an attractive room."

John 3:7

Marvel not that I said unto thee,

Ye must be born again.

King James Version (KJV)

PSALM 118:17

I shall not die,
but live, and declare
the works of the Lord.

PROVERBS 24:3-4

By wisdom
a house is built,
and through understanding

it is established;
through
knowledge

its rooms are filled with rare

and beautiful treasures.

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS
SELECTING THE CORRECT SIZE CHANDY TO USE IN A ROOM MADE EASY. FORMULA MEASUREMENTS: Measure the room's height and width. Add together the numbers. Example: 8' x 10' room is 8 plus 10= 18" Use a 18" wide chandy. OR Take width of room calculating 2" for every foot. Example: 15' wide room. Take 15 times 2 = 30. Room needs 30" wide chandy. Standard distance between the bottom of the chandelier to the top of the table is 30 inches. When hanging the chandelier, make sure to hang it at the proper height. The bottom of a chandelier over a dining table or kitchen island should hang 30 to 32 inches above the top of the table or island. Most rooms call for at least 7 feet of space between the bottom of the chandelier and the floor.

WISHES

NO MATTER HOW BADLY YOU WISH with all your might that the something devastating that happened in your life hadn't happened and want so badly to go back in time to prevent it from happening...it isn't humanly possible to do this. You can't change the fact that it happened. IT DID. But JESUS can change the MEANING of what happened to you and give you PEACE. He can show you the way in which you are to go. God richly BLESS you. ~Deanna
