This has been a beautiful Autumn. I will remember the burst of colors in the trees and the leaves dancing as they fell to the ground. One of the most beautiful Autumns I've seen in Kansas. Time for closure and cooler climate. Time to take a deep breath and sigh. Relax and begin planning for a festiveThanksgiving and a Christmas joy.
Autumn falls and Halloween hushes.
Before I close this chapter for the year, some jack-o-lantern pictures will be shown along with Hello Kitty Costume on Toddler. Toddler's Momma decorated her as well as herself and had a great time on Halloween. This is the third Halloween for the girls to be home.
We had beautiful weather last week-end to harvest in the trick-or-treaters for a candy bar.
I really like sitting in the Parlor and waiting for the children to come to our door for a treat. In our little town, we still dress up in a costume and go out for candy. This is a benefit for living in this small town. Hubby did the honors of preparing our smiling jack-o-lantern that sat on our porch. He did a great job! I lit the candle...BOO!
After Halloween, we had candy to spare so I have done my duty and ate more chocolate than usual. I liked the 100 Grand Bars and Baby Ruth.
I wish these munchkins had rang my doorbell! Just pulled heart strings via internet.
We had a wonderful Halloween 2009 and I think it is now time to close this chapter in my book. We'd quickly get use to the Time Change on Sunday. Now we forge ahead with late Autumn where the temperatures are chilling out and prepare for Thanksgiving!
