St. Louis Tablescape With Family

Occasionally I share a Tablescape.

First I want to show you the real people who ate real food together for this Tablescape!!!





This is 'Baby P'

Hubby, Daughter Ash, Lil Miss and myself 
journeyed to St. Louis and enjoyed our family.
We visited 'Tinman', 'Ryna' and 'Baby P'.

Wonderful time.



















When family gets together, the food comes out 
and 'Ryna' fixed a feast. 
She did a super job. 
Let me share with you the fixens!
So delicious!





Delicious meal served 
on pretty Cobalt Blue and White China 
with Gorham Silverware.

Menu:
Meat Patties
Biscuits with Butter
Cole Slaw Salad
Green Bean Casserole
Corn on the Cob
Mashed Potatoes
Gravy
Water and Root Beer










Another St. Louis Meal to enjoy was Spaghetti with Meat Balls!
One of my favorites.
Time to prep...

Cheesy Sticks
Bread 
Olive Oil Dip
Beverage








We had a wonderful time visiting our loved ones.
It is a warm blessing to see our Children and Grands.
To have fellowship together to talk, 
eat, watch movies and laugh is true joy.

Saint Louis Autumn Tablescape





On A Beautiful Sunday Afternoon, November 8th, 2009 we had a St. Louis Lunch on the Patio. Our lovely Daughter-In-Law, Ryna prepared a delicious meal for us to enjoy outside on Blue and White China with Gorham Silverware while the temperatures were in the mid 70s. Around the Patio Table we had Food, Fun and Fellowship.




~ Menu ~

Pork Tenderloin

Crescent Rolls with Butter

Corn on the Cob

Green Bean Casserole

Mashed Potatoes

Pumpkin Pie

Root Beer Float






The Patio Table Umbrella was opened as the leaves began to gently fall onto our meal. Overall, we had a wonderful visit with family in this very pleasant November weather.






Our lovely hostess prepared a feast for us and we sure enjoyed every bite.




Leaves did fall, but it didn't spoil our fun.

We had a great time in St. Louis.

DAUGHTER'S PIE CRUST RECIPE

Pie Crust Recipe.
With her permission I share her recipe with you.
BLESS your family, friends and your taste buds with this wonderful crust.

Pie Crust Recipe

1 cup flour
3 heaping tablespoons of shortening
A dash of salt
A tiny bit of ice cold water

Mix ingredients together well.
Roll out on wax paper.
Assemble pie.
Spread a little milk on top of crust before baking.

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS
SELECTING THE CORRECT SIZE CHANDY TO USE IN A ROOM MADE EASY. FORMULA MEASUREMENTS: Measure the room's height and width. Add together the numbers. Example: 8' x 10' room is 8 plus 10= 18" Use a 18" wide chandy. OR Take width of room calculating 2" for every foot. Example: 15' wide room. Take 15 times 2 = 30. Room needs 30" wide chandy. Standard distance between the bottom of the chandelier to the top of the table is 30 inches. When hanging the chandelier, make sure to hang it at the proper height. The bottom of a chandelier over a dining table or kitchen island should hang 30 to 32 inches above the top of the table or island. Most rooms call for at least 7 feet of space between the bottom of the chandelier and the floor.
