Blue Garland and Feeling Awful

Having the sniffles this week 

has made my eyes water and my nose tickle. 

Stuffed up nose. 

Ahh chew.  

Cough.  Cough.

Blowing my nose and waiting for health to return
 has made me very tired.  Not sleeping well.

Drinking vitamin c drinks twice a day 

and Day time cold meds.  

My evening cocktail is 2 Tablespoons 

of Night time meds.

The Flint Hills are being burned 

and my allergies have caused misery.

Ready to feel better.

Seasonal Shuffle

Dear Friend...Hope your day is going well.

At the beginning of Spring, there was much seasonal cleaning that I had hoped would get completed...alot of shuffling took place. Pleased about the shuffle! My Blue Garland dishes have been housed in different locations over the years. Right now they are resting inside an old oak china cabinet that was given to me when my parents downsized from a 3 bedroom bungalow to a 2 bedroom apartment.

The dishes have been in my different houses for along time. The storage places have changed, but the dishes still delight me.

I'm enjoying displaying them in this cabinet.

Recently this 'God Bless Our Home' was hung to the left of the cabinet along with this wooden item.

A little crystal lamp sits atop the cabinet. Before the shuffle the cabinet was in the Parlour and dolls were in it. I like the dolls in the cabinet, but springtime called and I needed to switch the curios that were in the Diningroom and put them in the Parlour. China cabinet shuffled to the Diningroom. It's originally a Diningroom piece and that's where I needed it to be.

All in a days work...the cabinet sits in her rightful place with Blue Garland China in her.

HomeHaven just wouldn't be the same without all my dishes and nic nacs.
