Which way do you hang the roll

Which way do you hang the roll
of toilet paper?
HOW MANY RELATIONSHIPS HAVE BROKEN UP
OR SPLIT INTO OVER THIS SUBJECT MATTER?
KIND OF LIKE....do you leave the toilet lid up or lower it when finished using the toilet?
Do you squeeze the tube of toothpaste in the middle or at the bottom of the tube?
Throw the empty milk carton away. Don't put it back in the 'fridge when empty.
Were you born in a barn? Shut the door.
Pick up your undies and put them in the clothes hamper.
I've wondered...which way the toilet paper is suppose to
hang
on the toilet paper roller.
on the toilet paper roller.
Know what I mean? Have you wondered?
Is it suppose to be positioned where
the pieces of tissue are closest to the user (over the roller) or is the tissue suppose to
hang to where it rolls off the back of the roll of toilet paper???
Not a bad dilemma......just wondering.
WHAT'S THE PROPER WAY?
If ANN LANDERS said that this was the most controversial issue in her column's history, than I am in pretty good company.
Well Eppie....you did well.
Ann Landers was Eppie Lederer.

Toilet paper orientation
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Toilet paper when used with a toilet roll holder with a horizontal axle parallel to the wall has two possible orientations: the toilet paper may hang over (in front of) or under (behind) the roll. The choice is largely a matter of personal preference, dictated by habit. In surveys of American consumers and of bath and kitchen specialists, 60–70% of respondents prefer over.[1]Despite its being an apparently trivial topic, some people hold strong opinions on the matter. Advice columnist Ann Landers said that the subject was the most controversial issue in her column's history. Defenders of either position cite advantages ranging from aesthetics, hospitality, and cleanliness to paper conservation, the ease of detaching individual squares, and compatibility with a recreational vehicle or a cat. Celebrities and experts are found on both sides. Some writers have proposed connections to age, sex, or political philosophy; and survey evidence has shown a correlation with socioeconomic status.[2]
Solutions range from compromise, to using separate dispensers or separate bathrooms entirely[citation needed], or simply ignoring the issue altogether. One man advocates a plan under which his country will standardize on a single forced orientation, and at least one inventor hopes to popularize a new kind of toilet roll holder which swivels from one orientation to the other.[3]
Okay....what do you think?
I decided from this day forward,
I will be using the OVER the roll method.
Next dilemma...what do you do
with the cardboard rollers???
That's fodder for a different post.
Do you throw them away or flatten them out for keeping and use for fireplace starters? Save for Craft Projects? Use for extension cord holders? Scarf holders? Use for package stuffers like mailing peanuts?
Enough for today.
So glad we have TOILET PAPER,
d
