There have been days that I feel like I get so little accomplished,
but not after 21 cakes came out of our tiny torn up kitchen.
Celebrated my Mom's 80th Birthday
with three flavors of Bundt Cake plus a regular white.
Hubby and I became team players and rolled up our sleeves to create
Double Chocolate, Butter Rum with Pecan Bundt Cakes and French Vanilla
plus white birthday cake.
Transporting these cakes took some doing.
Cakes were boxed and carefully handled for traveling
to where Mom lives to have her birthday celebration.
I could not have done all of this without my thoughtful and helpful husband.
Packing up for the trip.
Party time!
Pictures of days gone by to view and an over-sized card to sign.
Coffee, Iced Tea, Water and Punch to drink.
Flowers came in from love ones and friends.
Family pictures on display.
The room was prepared and soon the Guest of Honor, my Mom would arrive.

Did I tell you that my Mom has a sense of humor?
Mom hiding behind the flowers when I asked her for a picture
before we all sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
She hugged so many people that her rose corsage began to droop and fade and it was artificial!
We all sang to her and I think she was touched.
After we sang, A LIFE SKETCH was read and then refreshments served.
