HAPPY May Day!!! I sure HOPE this is a blessed and prosperous month for us with the best of health, and will power to get much done. Amen and amen.
HUBBY HAS BEEN COUGHING FOR ABOUT 21 DAYS. This is how my bronchitis started. I'm surprised he has gone this long before getting sick. In to see the doctor and get some meds. I stayed in the car while he went to the appointment.
MONDAY MORNING. I was allowed to sleep in while Hubby made a late breakfast for us. I had another rough night and my dear Husband allowed me to sleep in. I woke feeling better, THANKFUL. The cough has slowed some, but I'm weak all over. It will take some time to regain my strength after all the coughing I did and am still doing. My throat has had a work out. Raw comes to mind. The whirring is still in my chest and throat. Productive coughing? AT any rate, I worked on bills.
Being out and about in the beautiful SPRING weather was a bonus. Blue skies and gentle temps made for a beautiful day.
We managed to load two of our small parlour chairs into the back of our Cruiser to take to the COTTAGE later in the day. Yesterday, the antique mirror and the wash stand went to the COTTAGE and today two chairs. We are at least getting some things moved into the COTTAGE. It's a start to COTTAGE LIFE. What a good feeling to have. All the hard work will pay off.
The rest of the week, more small items will migrate over like the pie table and rose lamp. And the bead board in the bathroom will be primed and possibly painted THEN the TOILET goes in!!! It's getting exciting to think in a few hours a brand new toilet will be installed!!!
When I'm over at the COTTAGE working, I still am shuffling boxes and pieces of furniture to fit just so-so. Making plans to gather all the furniture that will be auctioned off when the time comes. I think it best to continue taking small things over to the COTTAGE to get them out of the main house and gather things together that will be turned loose of. The two large curio cabinets that we managed to get to the COTTAGE will be auctioned off so back they will go to the main house. Ha. After much thought after getting them there, I decided there isn't room in this tiny place for these pieces. sigh. I think I will live not having them. I hope someone will purchase them and be just as happy as I was all those years using them from everything from dolls to dishes. I can say good-bye.
I continue to downsize my doll collection and the ones I keep will sit/stand on the floor to ceiling bookcase we will build later. Problem solved. Now to box up the dollies that I will keep and box up the ones I'll turn loose of. More muscle needed and boxes. Tadaah.
In my thoughts are completed COTTAGE rooms neatly decorated and ready to live in. I have a ways to go to have this come to fruition. Staying focused and determined to make it come together soon.
What will the week bring? Only good things I pray. Here's to a good LIFE fun of good decisions which lead to health, wealth and well being. In Jesus name.
