Home Happenings

The Church Bells rang as I was driving.  A comforting sound.  I rolled the car window down so I could hear the chimes.  Cold out, but wanted to hear the donging.  Later today, I will stop by the Newspaper Office and buy a weekly Newspaper.  Supposedly the temps will be in the 40s with the sky being blue.

Mid WEEK is here.  Taking some time to recall.

What a wonderful week-end we had.  My Oklahoma Family arrived late Friday night.  Mom and Dad drove in on Saturday morning.  Served a Ham Luncheon.  Hubby helped me with the details and we ate well.



Daughter had an IMAGINATION STATION Birthday Party for Lil Miss who has turned 6. Turned out to be a lot of fun.

In the evening we opened Christmas presents that had been waiting.  It was nice to not rush and enjoy this moment.  Even played Christmas music.

















                                                              Daughter-in-law Shell had shared this $$$ CHART on facebook and I liked it so much....that I wanted to share also.  Believe that I will do this in reverse so that during the Christmas Season I won't have to dig so deep into my pockets for cash to buy Christmas Presents.  Already having the cash saved will ease some STRESS.  

 

As this week is progressing, I will take some time to relax and rest as I need.  Parlour Tree must come down now.  Christmas is over until next December.  I'll get excited once again about decorating for the Season. Desiring to be prepared.
