Do you know what I was doing close to fourty years ago???
I was a teenager taking HomeEconomics Class at West Junior High in Liberal, Kansas. My teacher wasn't the friendliest person in the world (do we know what causes this?) and I really can't remember a whole lot about the Class...hum. The room was an oversized classroom with a sewing area, a desk area and several kitchen stations. This was a neat set-up for young girls studying the art of being domestic. I tried really hard to be a good student, but if grades were all we went by, I missed the mark.
This is the class that I received a "D" in and didn't understand why. I did well on the tests, produced above average projects, but wasn't a social butterfly. I was too shy and timid to even ask the teacher why I received a "D" on my report card when I was passing the tests, had good attendance and produced decent projects.
It was no secret that my sister (now sis I'm not blaming you!) greatly disliked Mrs. P*T*R* and Mother had to have a Parent/Teacher Conference with her several years before I showed up. Hum. I truly didn't have any beef with her soooo I went on to receive a Superior Metal in Sewing Class when I was a Junior in High School! Highest mark in the class...am I bragging? YES I ISSSSSSSS!!! Yes I am...just a tad bit. After all it's been over 40 years. FoUrTy YeArS. Oh my Goodness. Time to shine.
When you have gone through some trials with people...when life tends to be harder than you are comfortable with and have horrible challenges with other Humans that aren't easily resolved...one of the best things you can do is to go ahead and live life well.
Perhaps one day the Lord will say to you... "WELL DONE GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVENT." This will be a SUPERIOR METAL for sure!
I luv you and wish you all the best,
~Deanna~
