HOW TO RELAX WHEN THINGS HAVE TO BE DONE with the 6 P's.

TURNING 3 TODAY!!!

TODAY, my youngest grandson turns 3.  PARTY TO FOLLOW.  I have Junior's gift wrapped ready to go in red gift wrap paper with white polka-dots.  Gotta find the ribbon to tie about the box so it looks nice. 🎁  I've written out his card and filled it with $2 bills. 💵  I like giving the grandchildren $2 bills for their birthdays.  Fortunately, I had saved some just for this occasion.  My Daddy would have been 98 years old today as well.  Thinking about him with peace and love.

TODAY ARRIVED!  🌞The sun came up and I woke around 8 which is later than I have been waking up.  The room was lite with sunshine with no alarm set this morning.  Lately, we have been on the go getting up early to fulfill our obligations.  TODAY, we are blessed to have a slow start with no demands.  Blessed.  Given time to talk sharing our thoughts about what needs to happen today.

👚A load of laundry went into the machine.  The washing machine is my 🤖ROBOT that I adore having around.  Maybe I should call my washing machine Rosie and the dryer Hazel.  I haven't managed to train or program Rosie and Hazel to fold and hang items then put away.  I have to do this part.  grins.  I can pray over the clothing articles while I work.  Lord, Please Bless us.  Thank you.

🏚 Insurance business was taken care of about roof repairs.
🎄Newly purchased Christmas supplies have been stacked and grouped together.

🏥 Medical communications were typed up and sent to the doctor.
🎁A gift was wrapped and ready to go for tomorrow's event and Grandson's gift is wrapped as well for today's party.
⏰Taking time to type up a post for my blog.
🍽 Will be concentrating on clearing out the china cabinet.
👟I must go for my walk around 1 this afternoon.

😠Do you ever get worked up about what needs to be taken care of and get hyper in your soul?  I do.  Take a deep breath and exhale.  Life goes on and so must I, but I don't care to be all worked up which causes high blood pressure amongst other issues.  Stay calm so as to not add anymore tension to an already tense situation.  amen.

SO HOW DO YOU RELAX WITH MUCH TO DO so your blood pressure doesn't soar out of range?  Suggestions?

Breathe and pray.  Pace yo' self.  Be realistic and don't try to do too much.  Walk and talk.  Stay hydrated.  Do something that takes your mind off of the chaos.  Journal.  Listen to music.  Watch an old flick.  Sew.  Go for a drive.  Call someone.  Clean house.  Work a bit then sit.  Work a bit then sit.  Work a bit then sit.  Etc.

Some thrive on chaos.  I don't.  My Husband does and it causes conflict between the two of us at times.  💣Home Harmony disappears.  I have to keep my distance from him at times.  👴👵 My adrenaline only goes so far.  I'm better off planning, pacing and playing.

A WISE woman once told me, "Honey, be pleasant and good things will follow.  Pray, plan and persevere." 💑 She knew her stuff.

GET DRESSED IN THE MORNINGS.  MAKE YOUR BED.  MAKE PLANS FOR THE DAY AND BE PLEASANT ABOUT IT.

THE 6 P's:  Be pleasant, pray, plan and persevere.  Pace yourself and don't forget to play some.

Hubby has plans to get back on the shuffling of the cellar and garage.  Lord help him be successful with this endeavor without injury.  A glass bowl fell off the counter landing on his foot which caused intense pain as he let out a yelp.  Today, one of the toes is bruised with tints of dark purple hues coloring the flesh indicating injury.  About a year ago, he injured his right foot that has caused lots of commotion during the year.  So having a bowl injure the other foot was not a welcomed thing.  He's walking on it.  That's a bonus.

I'll relax and get done what I can pacing myself and enjoying a cup of tea all by myself.  Dear God, Bless us and keep us safe.  Let us be in good spirits and health.  Help us prosper.  Let us be a blessing to others.  In Jesus name, AMEN!

Blessings,
~d

DECORATING

I knew a very frugal Lady named Edith that shared with me a excellent guideline for decorating. She said with ease, "If your room has clean ceilings, floors, and walls, and the windows have nice curtains, you'll have an attractive room."

John 3:7

“Marvel not that I said unto thee,

Ye must be born again.”

King James Version (KJV)

PSALM 118:17

I shall not die,
but live, and declare
the works of the Lord.

PROVERBS 24:3-4

By wisdom
a house is built,
and through understanding

it is established;
through
knowledge

its rooms are filled with rare

and beautiful treasures.

BLOSSOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED
As long as I live, I will have to continually submit to God's plan for my life. You will be blessed because you turned your life over to God. Be confessing how good God is and tell Him you agree with who He says He is. BELIEVE and watch miracles happen. Be not afraid. ~Deanna

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS
SELECTING THE CORRECT SIZE CHANDY TO USE IN A ROOM MADE EASY. FORMULA MEASUREMENTS: Measure the room's height and width. Add together the numbers. Example: 8' x 10' room is 8 plus 10= 18" Use a 18" wide chandy. OR Take width of room calculating 2" for every foot. Example: 15' wide room. Take 15 times 2 = 30. Room needs 30" wide chandy. Standard distance between the bottom of the chandelier to the top of the table is 30 inches. When hanging the chandelier, make sure to hang it at the proper height. The bottom of a chandelier over a dining table or kitchen island should hang 30 to 32 inches above the top of the table or island. Most rooms call for at least 7 feet of space between the bottom of the chandelier and the floor.

WISHES

NO MATTER HOW BADLY YOU WISH with all your might that the something devastating that happened in your life hadn't happened and want so badly to go back in time to prevent it from happening...it isn't humanly possible to do this. You can't change the fact that it happened. IT DID. But JESUS can change the MEANING of what happened to you and give you PEACE. He can show you the way in which you are to go. God richly BLESS you. ~Deanna
