Last week when my Sis and I visited Thrift Shops
we went to the Topeka Salvation Army.
It was there that I purchased this red doored folding up hard plastic lil doll house that opens into a house with a audible door bell...DING DONG, flushing toilet with swirling flush away sound,
washing machine that rotates making utility sounds,
and last but not least a bath room shower that makes running water sound.
She was disinfected and ready to play with.
Some parts are missing, but that's alright...
Lil Miss likes little houses and she's having daily fun with this toy.
My Parents blessed me with childhood dolls, but I didn't have a childhood doll house.
With my Mom's permission I'd use old catalogs to cut out pictures for houses and imagine this was my house that had 4 living rooms, 10 bedrooms, 3 kitchens, 5 bathrooms, etc.
Someday I will doll up a miniature Doll House
with all the trimmings!
Liking miniatures.....will make this all the more fun.
I do have one of these hard back books that opens up into a Victorian Doll House.
It takes up very little room,
because it closes back and can be stored on a shelf.
NICE.
Sweet Blessings to you.
It's a busy life being a Granny Nanny...but it does come with benefits. I give myself permission to crawl around on the floor playing dolls! Not bad for being 56.
