Jibber Jabber

My body aches.  Sometimes I'm way too slow to seek medical help.  This past week I have been hurting and not wanting to go see the doctor at the same time.

Sigh.  
Have ache.
Will call.
Made appt.
Went in to see the doc.
Will know more later.

Jibber Jabber…..as I type this, I can hear the bugs and the birds outside the family room window that's open to let fresh air inside, chirping a Spring Song.  A very pleasant sound and I welcome it.  This is sound that takes me back in time to when I was a little girl that stayed the night with my Grandma.  Her bed's mattress was filled with feathers.  Not sure what type of feathers they were, but plump with softness.  The mattress was one that you sank into before the night was over.  SANK.  Embrace the memory.  One that is a good one.

Hubby primed and painted some more kitchen cabinets which have dried and are aching to be filled with kitchen items.  Will fill this week-end.  Hurray.  He's making progress on our white kitchen.  He'll be rolling up his sleeves and putting muscle to the project when he continues to build the pull-out pantry that will be to the left of the fridge. 

SHUFFLING took place.

Computer ended up on top of the sewing machine.

I finally cleared out the TOY AREA and left some books on the window ledge to make a SUMMER LIBRARY. EASY to reach and get to.

Family Pics will soon be hung on the wall.  

It's been a long time in the coming.

 This old piece of furniture was cleared off to make room 

for the big screen television that will make her new home here so we don't strain our necks watching the tele.  Better sound in this new location and the screen seems bigger than before.

Hearing a loud crash, I discovered that my antique mirror that hung above the piano in the Parlour took a nose drive when the old wire pulled out of the mirror frame AND FELL.  Wedged between the piano and the wall.  This one hurt.  We've had this mirror for about 31 years and I have so enjoyed this treasure that was a CHRISTMAS GIFT from my Parents.  I'm not sure if we will be able to repair this piece.  One of the three piece mirrors was cracked.  Snapped.  I didn't cry….but think as this sinks in, I might shed a tear.

Our Wednesday was a very full day.  Nice to go to Topeka.  Was tired after returning home.  

Husband had a good report from his doctor then we drove POTWIN PLACE to see the beautiful neighborhood.  I seem to go there twice a year.  At Christmas and again in the Spring just because I can.  Bought some coffee to go.  Drove past McFarland's Restaurant looking for the HOBBY SHOP.  Ate Lunch after shopping BIG LOTS.  Stopped off at the Public Library.  Stopped by the Hobby Store, got a Green River and a Banana Split that we all shared at Old Prairie Town.

RESTORE was next.  Visited GOD's STOREHOUSE and the little animals at the PET SHOP.  Stopped at the TOY STORE and then made the drive HOME.  Tired.

Thursday was a stay at home kind of day.  I needed to stay put.  Paperwork to do and did.  Friday trip to the DOCTOR's, Salad for Lunch, Coffee, the PHARMACY, and UNIVERSITY GARDENS and a donut for the road.  Drove across the Flint Hills green with beauty to behold.  Well then….i jibber jabbered.
