Walking around on a Friday afternoon
on a super hot Summer's day,
we ran into no crowds or waiting lines
viewing the interior of the KANSAS STATE CAPITOL.
ALMOST like we were the only ones in the place.

Uncrowded and quiet.
Last time I was in the interior
serious remodeling was taking place.
THIS TIME,
I was rewarded with seeing the remodeling completed.
Witnessing first hand a beautifully
put together building.
Wanting to return soon to look closer at mural paintings,
photographs and possibly tour the dome.
I had a grandchild with me to see the sights.
Not having seen the STATE Library before
ever was a treat.
