FEELING MORE LIKE NORMAL

TIS TUESDAY and I am feeling more like normal since this co vid thing got me down.  It's been rough coughing for 8 weeks.  Doesn't seem possible that two months has passed.  Better days ahead I pray.

During this time, I have managed to rest and find time to gather up more things to donate.  This is on going.  Started yet another bag that rests in the Kitchen.  Very little housekeeping took place as I was beyond tired.  So fatigued.

AS FOR PAPERWORK...I emptied a laundry basket full of papers needing attention to shred or file and emptied the Victorian Desk drawers.  I started by picking up a pile of papers, going through them and then placing them in individual piles on the floor.  A HOME and AUTO PILE (anything pertaining to home payments, utility bills to items purchased as well as for the cars), A FINANCIAL PILE (anything pertaining to spending, checking, savings, retirement), A MEDICAL PILE, A GRANDCHILDREN'S PILE and a misc. PILE.

Next, medium size boxes were located and the papers will go into individual category boxes. After I have grouped all the loose papers in each box, I will begin to organize into individual subjects just what is there and then put in order of dates.  File away.  I will be ever so glad when this is completed.  It has been a heavy weight.

Today, I felt like I made huge progress which is very uplifting after months of getting nowhere.  I can see light at the end of this messy tunnel.  Thankful to finally feel some relief.  I was bogged way down for so long.

Beautiful sight!

If my health continues to improve, I plan on making a trip to Topeka or Manhattan to go hunting for extra large mason jars to store flours, sugars, cereals, tea bags and coffee pods. WEARING A MASK, I plan on going to Hobby Lobby first.  If they don't have any that will work then it will require hunting at Menards, Target, Big Lots, Walmart, Michaels, Family Dollar.  Not sure where else.  Perhaps I should check the internet first.

Smaller jars will be used for spices and herbs.  Won't that be wonderful?  Awesome.

At any pace, I know the direction I am headed concerning Kitchen storage and decor.  Praise the sweet Lord.

On the HOME FRONT:

We purchased a large light from the thrift store for at the top of the stairs.  Got a super good price on this and Husband wasted no time installing it.  Sure like it.

Blessings,

DECORATING

I knew a very frugal Lady named Edith that shared with me a excellent guideline for decorating. She said with ease, "If your room has clean ceilings, floors, and walls, and the windows have nice curtains, you'll have an attractive room."

John 3:7

Marvel not that I said unto thee,

Ye must be born again.

King James Version (KJV)

PSALM 118:17

I shall not die,
but live, and declare
the works of the Lord.

PROVERBS 24:3-4

By wisdom
a house is built,
and through understanding

it is established;
through
knowledge

its rooms are filled with rare

and beautiful treasures.

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS
SELECTING THE CORRECT SIZE CHANDY TO USE IN A ROOM MADE EASY. FORMULA MEASUREMENTS: Measure the room's height and width. Add together the numbers. Example: 8' x 10' room is 8 plus 10= 18" Use a 18" wide chandy. OR Take width of room calculating 2" for every foot. Example: 15' wide room. Take 15 times 2 = 30. Room needs 30" wide chandy. Standard distance between the bottom of the chandelier to the top of the table is 30 inches. When hanging the chandelier, make sure to hang it at the proper height. The bottom of a chandelier over a dining table or kitchen island should hang 30 to 32 inches above the top of the table or island. Most rooms call for at least 7 feet of space between the bottom of the chandelier and the floor.

WISHES

NO MATTER HOW BADLY YOU WISH with all your might that the something devastating that happened in your life hadn't happened and want so badly to go back in time to prevent it from happening...it isn't humanly possible to do this. You can't change the fact that it happened. IT DID. But JESUS can change the MEANING of what happened to you and give you PEACE. He can show you the way in which you are to go. God richly BLESS you. ~Deanna
