HERE I SIT LATE AT NIGHT typing a post about the last few days. Returning HOME from staying with my 87 year old Mom, I hope to sleep better tonight than the previous one. I did not sleep well at all. Woke early and got through the busy day. THINK sometimes I run on adrenaline.
Tomorrow will tell just how tired I am. I'll rest. Do laundry later. Bills can wait. Tidying....will be slow.
My Mom's birthday party was nice and I ate a piece of sugary cake. Skipped the ice cream, but drank lemonade.
Before I headed HOME, I got a coffee for the road from Dorothy's Coffee HOUSE and Tea Room in Marion, KS. Twas good. Loved what they had done to the place.

When we moved to Marion back in 1992, this old house was being remodeled by an older couple that lived in California. They never finished this task. Fast forward to 2019. Completely overhauled and beautiful.
Wish I had taken a picture of the inside to share. I was in a hurry and failed to do so. Perhaps another time.
Drove the distance HOME.
Arrived HOME to a kiss and a hug.
HOT chili for supper on this cold day.
